Endearing bad habits? Am I the only one who allows a Yorkie to get away with a bad habit for no other reason than I think it's cute? When Eddie gets bored and I'm ignoring him, he turns into an ankle-biter. Literally. He latches onto my pants legs like a pit bull and allows me to drag him around the house. My wife gets mad at me for letting him do it, but I can't stop. He just cracks me up. |
Bugaboo is allowed to growl and whine at me. My daughter always threatens to call a dog trainer. |
Danny let the girls get away with sooo much. I guess I need to lighten up but it's hard to when - It seems like I'm always the "Bad Guy"... I do the tiresom brushing and tugging on their hair. I make them walk the plank into the bath. I'm the one to scold them when they have "accidents" (I get to clean up too). Daddy is the "Fun Guy" who plays with them, gives them treats, lets them run around without their harness outside, and cooks their meals with steak and salmon and stuff. |
They have a name for that "Doggie Disneyland Dad!" :lol tears |

Ok, here's one thing I let Jewel get away with... She loves MUD and DIRT! I know I have to clean her up but.... she has soooo much fun getting dirty. She also loves to chase the water from the hose and by the time she's done playing she's a total mess! But when I see how happy it makes her I don't want to stop her. Eddie, you trying to tell dad something? Is little Timmy in the well again...? I know it must be so frustrating for you cuz Dad just doesn't get it does he? |
Oh I Forgot One I have let Bugaboo take off my socks since he was a little baby. He would try to remove other people's socks too. Now he has learned he can only take momma's off. :grin2: |
1 Attachment(s) LOL I love when My Mickey acts like that .........He will latch onto ours socks mostly mine and growl and shake his head from side to side and pull with all his might. It cracks us up. Times when he does get the sock pulled off he will run and loves us to chase him. When he sees his daddy getting ready for work he always looks on the pile of clean clothes hes going to wear and grabs the socks and runs off with them and around and around they go. lol Heres a picture of him trying to get the sock off. lol |
Omg! Maybe Bugaboo and Mickey are brothers. My socks get so stretched out. I will post a pic of Bugaboo doing the same thing tomorrow. Micky looks so cute. :jump28ib: |

And Corinne, you're such a GIRL. Getting dirty is not a bad habit for a dog! You're not allowed on this thread any more until you can think of a real endearing bad habit. Dan, however, is allowed to post. |

Teddy's way of getting from my husband to me is straight across the coffee table. Sometimes he even lays next to me on the coffee table. Have I ever let another pet do that? NO!!! It's cute but if my mother ever visits I think she may have a heart attack at how yorkie whipped I am. |

Perhaps Eddie is like Teddie and he doesn't think he's a dog? I would hate the be the one to break that news to him.... |
He not only doesn't know he's a dog, he thinks I am and he's the master! |
