:aimeeyork I have started on the venture of wrapping Ruby Cupcakes coat to see what I can achieve (hopefully a floor-length) in a lapse of time. I started today went out to get the right paper any everything I needed. I had to do this after seeing how it was done and what it could achieve. Wish me luck. :thumbup:

Well so far were are doing pretty good. I do have to admit though she has tried to jank some of them out but only when she remembers. She hasn't been that bad though. :thumbup:

It is done to protect the hair from breaking. The hair is sectioned, and the folded into paper and then wrapped. :animal36

It's done alot with show dogs to keep their coats clean and keeps it from breaking off. WOW.... she has an AMAZING coat! Zoe will have a cottony coat, so it's crazy to me to see such a silky masterpiece!! :)

I'd love to know what products you use on Ruby Cupcakes hair! She's gorgeous! I think my chihuahua Luca might dump his girlfriend (my sister's pitbull, lol) for Ruby Cupcakes!!! :p :p :D :D

Thank you so much. I use LaPooch shampoo and it works wonders. Here is the site www.lespoochs.com. For conditioning I am currently using Wags wheatgrass conditioner but I will change it as soon as I run out cause its expensive and no good. :thumbup:

I ordered mine online at www.lespoochs.com. I think I paid like $30 for a big bottle of shampoo. The smaller one is like $12. I can't blame you about $60 that is kind of pricy. :thumbup:

Everytime I see the show dogs with long hair over their booties, I know they must stay wrapped all the time! Otherwise, their mommies would be cleaning poopy bottoms everyday! I love how they look with long hair.

My late Grrracie (RIP) had hair to the floor, but not in the bootie area! She was sooo beautiful! When we move to Mexico, Lexy and Peanut are going to be kept in puppy cuts, but until then, we'll see!

Ruby Cupcake is beautiful! Are you going to show her?

No I wish. Ruby had inguinal hernias (big ones) so she is no good candidate for showing. Hopefully one day I can aquire my own show puppy. My poor girl came from a broker and had several problems. All cleared now, thank God. She will be getting spayed also. Thanks for the comments though. :thumbup:
