Wow! Jack got a get-well package in the mail today from Shana at Tinkerbellscloset! TWO fleece coats and some booties! Everything is warm, cute and fits perfectly. Jack is now the stylingest and warmest Yorkie in Alaska. Even Eddie is jealous.

We can't thank you enough, Shana.

He's doing much better than I'd hoped. Cast's off, he's already walking on the leg at least as well as he did before surgery. And doc says it will take 4-6 months with physical therapy before he's at full strength. The hard part is keeping him from overextending himself.

Im so glad he is already walking on that leg and doing so much better. He looks alot warmer with that coat on in the snow. I think he is so adorable- in a manly way of course ;) :p

Yes, manly is very important to an Alaska Yorkie! Speaking of which, I just added a picture of him to my avatar. And is it just me, or does he look like Britney Spears in his new coat?

those are very outdoorsy, Alaska-style coats. Very nice. I am glad Yukon Jack is doing well. How is he handling the booties?

Joke aside, it takes a while to get them used too wearing them, but I will say that he's doing better than Eddie did at first. Jack walks in them without bribery. I used to have to hold a treat 2" in front of Eddie's nose to get him to move.

Edit: And yeah, I was being a smart-a$$. Someone just teased me one time for a thread title I posted once that said "Eddie loves the booties."
