Puppy Cut I am getting my first Yorkie in March. I don't think I will have the time to always keep up the nice long coat and I will most likely be taking her to the groomer every 4-6 to maintain a puppy cut. The problem is that all the books I have purchased and most the pictures on the web are adult dogs with the longer coat. I would love if some of you would post pictures of your adult dogs that have the "puppy cut" so I know what to expect as she grows. Also, so I can tell the groomer what I am looking for. Thanks a bunch!! |
Here's Gabby! 1 Attachment(s) Like you, I just don't have the time to manage a longer coat so I keep her in a puppy cut. It's a little "shaggy" as she needs to go to the groomers but this will give you an idea (I hope). She will be 9 years old next month. |
Too cute for words! That is exactly what I was looking for. What a sweetie! How much does she weigh? The puppy I am getting has a mom who is 7lbs and a dad who is 6lbs. We are hoping for that range in weight. Thanks for posting the picture. |
1 Attachment(s) Puppy coats are great. Just make sure you get some sweaters, because it's cold out. :) |

Gabby, a.k.a Miss Piggy, weighs in at 16 pounds!! But she is a healthy, fat thing:) My other yorkie, Gage, weighs 5 pounds soaking wet :D They are definitely "Mutt and Jeff"...LOL!!! Thanks for the kind words:) |
I already bought her a sweet hooded pink sweater! My husband thinks I am nuts...but I know she will need it!! |
