Do they look like yorkies? Thinking of getting a new baby and was referred to someone who has 4 available puppies. I want to post some photos of the mom, dad and puppies but I can’t seem to figure out how? They don’t look like the yorkies I’ve had previously so I would love some opinions. Hopefully I can figure out how to upload the photos. |

I would love your opinion on whether you believe they are yorkies since the coloring appears to be different than the yorkies I have. The left is the dad, middle is the mom and last is the baby. thank you all in advance :) |
Omgosh they r so cute, especially the daddy yorkie! I'm not a professional but they do look yorkie to me.. as for uploading pics on the phone, no idea why yours won't let you because I can with mine..? |
Thank you kindly for you help and response, I appreciate it! I agree they’re adorable, but different looking than mine. The dad seems to have silver hair, which neither of my babies had. The mom also looks different to me but super cute. |

I've seen the silvery coloring yorkies. I love it. Hope someone else gives u peace of mind. :) |

As for the coloring, depends on what you want, hair color does not interfere with their personalities and charming ways. If you are looking for traditional standard coloring I do not think you will find that in these puppies. However, a picture is just that, a picture, seeing them in person is best, they may look a lot different in person. I will say this, seeing wee lil babies is very hard to turn your back on them and walk away even if they do not look like you were expecting them to look like. Be strong, if you have a gut feeling, if you are not sure, be strong and walk away. Keep us posted when you see them and good luck. |
Thank you. The puppies are 8 weeks. The first set of photos are the parents and one of the puppies a few weeks ago. The second set shows the dad (silver) and two of the puppies, which look pretty different from each other. I am looking at the puppy in the middle tomorrow. |
On this forum I have seen a lot of all silver and all blonde yorkies, both parents are not standard yorkies coloring. Like I had stated, if you are looking for standard yorkie coloring you may not get that with these pups. As you know since you have had yorkies, their puppy hair coloring changes as they grow, even as adults their coloring changes. What color they end up being is a roll of the dice. So today is the big day, you get to see the babies. I would have selected the same puppy you have. He/she has that that fluffy puppy hair. After you have seen them today, please come back and let us know how you made out. Good luck today. |
I think they look like yorkies. Ask to see papers of mom and dad to help ease your mind. That they are both registered yorkies. I think they all are adorable |

Hi, sorry I’ve been so busy with work. We went to see the puppies. I haven’t made up my mind yet. The dad is small and silvery coat. The mom has more traditional coloring but she is heavy!! I mean she felt like she was over 10 lbs. She looked like a yorkie to me, but the size concerns me. We need to decide by this weekend and I’m still not sure what to do. I’ll post some more photos when I get a moment. |

They aren’t registered, that I knew from the beginning, which made me question whether they are yorkies or not. My last two weren’t registered but they were definitely yorkies. |
Look at https://marketplace.akc.org for Yorkshire terrier puppies there are lots of pictures there and you might find a reputable breeder you like near your home - some of the YTCA members list their puppies there from what I've seen. |
There are many yorkies who are bigger than others and are still full yorkie. When buying in a such a situation, (without papers) there can always be the risk of mixed breeds being represented as full but that puppy is soo adorable!! Hes got such perky ears too. �� glad u got more pics, definitely keep us in the loop with your decision! |
