Six months and just over eight pounds of feistiness.
He is the pickiest eater ever but still growing. He is all ruff and tumble boy with just a bit of cuddliness. He also loves being outside playing in the rain and snow or just exploring.
Since he got a shave he is a gray and tan, the black is gone.

Flint looks so cute with his new haircut. It's much easier to maintain when it's short. He's nice and healthy looking considering he's such a picky eater. I am so grateful my guy will eat anything.

Thanks! Yeah after I shaved him, it was crazy seeing his actual size. Haha. His hair made him so fluffy.. you are right too, it's so much easier to maintain!
The pickiness is so crazy to deal with. He's the first dog I've had be so picky. Our brittany eats anything and everything.

Lol, the visual is too funny, how I miss those puppy days, they are so mischievous and too cute while being naughty, ya just can't get mad at them, sooo cute learning about life.

The puppy stage seems more fun now that he's a little older. I can read him much better and he understands more. Like how he knows he can't have the shoe and knows i cant catch him if he keeps running around the big chair or kitchen island... he literally knows if I am trying to head him off in the other direction!!

Lol, he is keeping you on your toes that's for sure lol. They grow so fast, enjoy these days even if you're exhausted at the end of your evening lol.

When Cody begs to go and hunt, he makes sounds like a Porpoise or whale lol, how do they do that lol.
Yorkies are very verbal, another reason why I love this breed so much. They let you know what they want. They can be relentless until they get what they want lol.

The noises they make are the best!!
So he has been figuring that if he goes to his grass pad, I will let him out. So he goes and sniffs it, then looks at me for my reaction. If I hide any reaction, he puts a paw on it and pauses to catch my reaction. He wants me to open the door to let him out. Haha

I'm amazed at the braininess of this little dude!! Seems in his young age he has surpassed our Brittany's smartness and seriously I wonder if he is smarter than even my mother-in-law's border collies.

Yorkies are very smart dogs, they can be trained to do most anything but you have to put the time in. I suggest obedience classes when he has had all his vaccines. You will learn how to train your puppy and practice what you have learned at home with Flint. My guy is very food motivated so he learns quicky because he wants that tiny bit of food reward when he gets his commands right.
