Purebred yorkie puppy? 4 Attachment(s) Hello everyone, Here's are pictures of my 11-month -old puppy, Kobe. He is about 11 pounds. His face, underside and limbs are cream colour but his back is light grey. People have been questioning whether he is a purebred or not. Breeder claimed that he was, but we are not sure. Either way, my husband and I love him to pieces! Thanks in advance for your input. |
He's cute and looks like a Yorkie to me. Did you see the mom and dad in person? |

Thanks! Only the mom. |
Welcome to YT. I have always had bigger yorkies, my last girl weighed in at 17 pounds, my smallest was 9 pounds. The bigger yorkies have a different face structure. Their snout / muzzle is longer then the standard 7 pounds and under. Hair color will keep changing until he's appox. 1 1/2 years old but may continue changing. My boy is 6 yo the hair on his back is always changing from black to dark grey, then light grey, now he's like salt and pepper. Your baby looks like a yorkie to me, You can always do a DNA I hear the Wisdom Panel is pretty accurate, cost is about $85. It would give you Pease of mind. Check out their website www.WisdomPanel.com |
He just looks lighter than how I typically see yorkies and his nozzle is a bit bigger (like my yorkie) but seems like a yorkie to me. |
Your puppy is so awesome, purebred or not, he is sooo cute |
