LaviniaHyacynth, I've gone through a couple sets of booties this winter, losing some, wearing others out. But I really like the ones I have now. They're tiny, and they don't fall off. At least not yet. They fasten with velcro.

Laughing my a$$ off on that one. Shows our age - we think of it as lunch meat and I am sure young people think of it as bad email....

I meant to say PAM...the stuff you spray on your cooking pans so food does not cling...or in this case snow.... :D

Oh my gosh! Look at Eddie's face being all snow covered. Burrrr. He always looks like a little snowman, LOL. :p

Eddie seems to always have so much fun romping around, he's so adventurous! :aimeeyork I wonder if he has this much fun when all that snow melts? LOL :D

As always Eddie is adorable....he LOVES the snow!! It looks like he is eating it..or at least dumping his face in it. He is way to funny...send some of your snow this way!!!

NOW you tell me. I had my little Edith out in the snow with her paws embedded in 4 blocks of SPAM. She will never get over the humiliation.

And schatzie, I think I like winter better than Eddie. At least he wants to go in the house after a while. In the summer, he NEVER wants to go inside.

Hmmm...livingdustmops...you may have something there - Sliced SPAM might make some pretty well fitting SNOW SHOES for Eddie - Strap a slice of spam those little feet and he wouldn't sink in all the deep snow ? :D

course the drawback would be Eddie eating his snow shoes before he got out the door

TELL ME ABOUT IT ! that made ME hungry too and I do NOT eat Spam...amazing what a diet does for your taste in food when Spam Snow Shoes are sounding really yummy :eek:

Too funny!! Bet Eddie would much rather have the Spam on his feet!! I've also heard to use Vaseline on their paw pads.

AKYorkie- One of my Shelties LOVES snow, too. He has a long schnooter, and he puts it down in the snow and runs that way so its like a plow. Then he'll plop down and rest and eat the snow or make snow angels.

BTW-I think Eddie looks like a little bear in the second shot. JMO :p
