Sully SPEAKS! (video) I took this video late last week and had to share! We've been teaching Sully to "speak" on command and he's been doing a great job! Usually, Sully isn't much of a barker, unless someone is at the door...so it was really a challenge teaching him to speak, but we did it! Great video of Sully Val!!! He is just the cutest.....I am actually working on all of those tricks with mine so it gave me the incentive to keep it up....I know how much time and energy goes into teaching those tricks and I am very impressed! Thank you so much for sharing and being such an inpiration to us all!! :thumbup: |

I taught him to "walk" by first teaching him to stand up then "dance" (move all around) and then eventually, "twirl", which now he has down pretty well. (But his "twirl" in that video was not as balanced as he usually is.) Anyway, then I'll hold his treat up and have him walk a couple steps towards me before I'll give it to him....then I made him walk further, and further.....and now he will just "walk" on command. Sully also knows all of his tricks in SIGN LANGUAGE. I don't have to say a word and he'll obey all my hand signals with his tricks. OR I could just so all vocal too. It's fun to have taught him both! He's sooo smart! All of your yorkies are this smart, so don't let them fool you! Yorkies are genius dogs!!! :p |

I loved Sully's video. Shows how much time you have spent in training him. What a cute boy he is! We have one who stands on her hind legs and jumps across the floor, but she doesn't walk. She does this on her own with no one telling her what to do. Just for attention. I'll bet if we spent more time in training tricks she could do it on command, too. But it is hard to find the time to spend with them individually. |
I loved it!!! I then made my husband & Lucky watch it! I told Lucky that he needed to learn some tricks like that! LOL! :D |
