They can't help their nature LOL | As you may know, Cody is adopted, he was a city boy, I adopted him Nov. 2013 he was 2 1/2 y/o. His first time in the yard running free made me cry from happiness, just to see him running like a lil Grey Hound, His first taste of off leash running, then his hunting instincts kicked in. My heart is over whelmed seeing him happily stalking, sniffing then the hunt lol. Country living, yard, new strange smells. He loves the hunt and that makes me over joyed. Quote:

Oh little Cody looks so cute in the pics!
Your descriptions of Cody and your late Matese remind me so much of the small terrier I had when I was a little girl. She was about 10 pounds of white fluff, just looked so adorable and cuddly but she was a feisty little thing and a great hunter!
She used to go into the field behind our house and spend the day digging and digging, trying to catch her prey. She would come home with a black, muddy face and muddy paws and chest. Sometimes she'd bring her prize home and horrify all of us because we'd find dead rabbits on the lawn!! She never ate them, just killed them. I used to feel very sorry for those poor bunnies:(, thankfully she didn't catch them too often. | My passed Matese, once on a camping trip she was under the trailer, I went looking for her, when I saw her I called her, she picked her head up and looked at me, all I could see was 2 tiny feet and a tail sticking out of the side her mouth and a dazed look in her eyes lol. dazed because she must have been very surprised that after years of hunting she finally caught something lol, I SCREAMED NOOOOOO, she dropped it, she was a great lil hunter. Looks like Cody takes his job very seriously LOL did he get bath afterwards  | A bath!!!! lol he sure does after he gets brushed and rid of twigs and dirt lol , that face of his is muddy due to a lot of rain we had, he digs deep so earth is still moist. This boy is obsessed, and I am loving it. Thing is, temps are now in mid 80's, he gets in a frenzy, I have to drag him away, let him calm down, I don't want him to get over heated with all the digging he does lol. He is loving life, doing what he was breed to do. |
