I'd like you to meet my little angel:) 1 Attachment(s) Hi everyone…we are new here! Little Miss Sunshine and I have just started our new life together and are very happy. Believe it or not, this little girl was being sent to a shelter because she can't be bred! I had just lost my much adored little Shih Tzu and just couldn't stop crying, until my friend called to tell me about Sunni….within 4 hours she came home with me…and what an experience! I have never had such a fun, feisty, funny, furry, fabulous little friend!! |
Welcome to YT! I'm so sorry for the loss of your baby:(. While Sunni can't take her place she'll definitely help chase away sadness. |

Awww Sunni is just adorable! So glad she is with you!!:) |
Welcome to the both of you ! |
Hey Girlfriend! Welcome to you and your new baby. My Emma is 4 years old now, but I remember taking pics of her every day. I have a baby book of all of her firsts, and she is still my best friend. I had lost my mini schnauzer of 18 yrs and thought I would never own another pet, but Emma has healed my heart, I do everything I can to maintain her good health and to spoil her as much as I can. Two toy boxes... I learned to sew her coats (10) and harnesses (25) and I won't even start with all of the elaborate hair doo dads..bow just doesn't cover it! I know you are going to be really happy! Emmas Mom:) |
I'll bet you are head over heels in love with Miss Sunni. She's fall-over cute!!! I love her delicate, girly-girl look - so sweet. She's a little doll!!!!! |
Aw thanks guys! What a nice welcome. I know you all understand just how much this little one has captured my heart, lol. I love seeing all the pictures of everyone's lil fur babies, so many beauties. I too have taken pix of her doing just about everything, lol. Her little girl wardrobe is getting crazy already! I am going to have to learn how to make things for her, too. If there is a place for patterns to knit or sew yorkie clothes and accessories, I'd love to find it! |
Congratulations, she is precious. |
Who rescued who? She is a cuite...love her bows. |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk! So glad you found the forums. She looks beautiful! I took in a 9 year old Yorkie 2 months ago and he is the light of my life. He also healed my broken heart from my English Setter passing away last summer. I did not think I was ready to own another dog until I was literally handed him and I took him home with me and it was love at first sight for us. Enjoy your little girl, she sure looks sweet! Welcome to Yorkietalk. I'm very sorry for your loss of your precious little boy. Your new little angel will surely help to heal your broken heart. I will always love and miss my beloved babies who are at the Rainbow Bridge, but Katie instantly stole my heart, and she has brought so much love, light, laughter, and happiness into our home and hearts again. I hope your little girl does the same for you. |
Welcome to YT, sorry for the loss of your little boy, you were blessed with 18 beautiful years. I had to put my girl down at age 17 y/o so I know the pain of loosing a beloved friend and companion. Thank you for rescuing this little girl, she is so precious, sweet and girly looking, just adorable, I too adopted a 2 1/2 y/o 6 weeks after my girl went to Rainbow Bridge, it was not a planned adoption, more of a gift to me from my vet. I didn't want another dog, have lost to many and the pain never gets easier. Cody is my lil miracle boy, he help me heal over the loss of my Matese. Your little Sunni will do more for you then you can ever imagine, she has already won your heart, it only gets better from here. Love and enjoy your little clown. |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk, and congratulations on getting adorable little Sunni. Sounds like a match made in heaven, and I wish you all the best forever. Many of us have suffered the pain of losing a beloved pup, and have opened our hearts to love another. Even after deep sorrow, there can be new joy. |
What nice responses. It means a lot that you all understand what the loss of my George meant. And as some of you said, this little one isn't replacing him, but is actually helping me remember the fun times I had with him as I watch her growing up too. I seriously understand what they mean when they say "It is better to have loved and lost, then to have never loved at all". Very true! |
