Thank you! I adore this little guy. I even think he has gotten younger since I got him 6 weeks ago. He just needed some love and attention. He is a great little baby!

As soon as I think I can't love this little guy any more! He is as cute as a button and has a personality of gold! All these pics were taken today. It was a beautiful day here today. All grooming credits go to my teenage daughter. She loves to groom him. She is in one of the pictures of him, she makes him look big because he was so close to me when I took the picture, but at 7 lbs he is really small to us.

Great grooming job,he looks like a different dog. He's a little cutie.

He looks younger! I swear this dog has gotten younger since I got him. Treat them like a pup and they will act like a pup. We play and now that the weather has gotten nice we walk too. I think we went a mile the other day, very slow. We stopped and met 3 other dogs and talked to the people for a while. I love that he does not bark at other dogs. We tried to meet another Yorkie but the Yorkie dad took his dogs across the street as soon as he saw us and said his dogs were not allowed around other dogs. OKAY. That was a little weird. It was my daughter that wanted to see the Yorkie, she was young and cute and he wouldn't let her even near the Yorkie. Oh well. We did meet another Yorkie and a schnauzer and also a lovely Great Dane. All great dogs.

Your little guy is so cute. I love his coloring. You said you had recently got him even though he is 9 years old. May I ask where you got him? Did you have any trouble integrating him into your family at that age? I have two yorkie puppies and am looking for an older one.

I sent you a message so I could share a bit about him with you. Sorry it is so long, I like to talk. LOL

He has been an amazing fit into our family and he adjusted really fast. I just went on our normal routine right from the start and he adapted beautifully into our routine's.

Several weeks ago Teek and I were out walking and we ran into his previous owner. Teek wagged his stub of a tail and seemed happy to see him, but he was also happy when we went back home. No ill affects were seen from him seeing his old owner.

The guy texted me to today to ask if he could bring his boys over to see Teek and also a snake we got from them last year.

It went well and Teek does not act a bit differently for them having stopped by to see him. The boys were more interested in the snakes (we have 4). The guy petted Teek and played with him a bit. He saw how happy he is and how much room he has here. It is a small house really, but he has free roam of the main rooms of the house. I think he was pleased with the situation and how Teek looks.

If it had bothered Teek the first time we ran into him I would not have had him come over today, but he seemed perfectly fine with it and it went well.

I was shocked a few weeks ago when I heard my name being called and looked up and here comes his old owner. He was sitting on a friends front porch and said he saw a dog that looked like his old dog and then saw me and recognized me and knew it was his old dog. I am just glad it didn't upset Teek at all, so I will let him come see him occasionally if he wants to.

Teek is so well adjusted and I hope he adjusts just as well to the new puppies when they arrive. Teek will remain my best buddy though even with the new babies here. Teek and I have a great bond and I am confident that will remain.
