She is adorable and we all have horror stories about grooming experiences. Thank goodness it is hair and will grow back. :)

LOVE the pics you posted...Looks like TOTAL Puppy Love to me!! And she's sleeping 8 hours a night??...How spoiled are you!?! Lucky girl ;) As for the grooming experience...sorry her first time was so bad. I'm sure she still looks like PUPPY PERFECTION!! Kisses XXXX to her :p

Well, she is just adorable and I can understand why you where so excited to get this little dream boat... Her hair will grow out, but I understand how you felt. I personally shave..just the tips of the ears. I think it is what you prefer. Congrats on your baby... and I love looking at her pictures... :D So keep them coming !!!

I absolutely hate it when the groomers don't listen. When I take Cinamin (my brittany) in for her shave, I always tell them, make sure to do her ears as well because she is prone to ear infections and it makes it easier for me to clean. They never do her ears and then act surprised when I am upset. grrrrr.

I'm sure regardless of their screwup, Pixie looks just adorable anyway!

Kathryn...I'm so glad you finally got Pixie..I told you they sleep ALL night. Both of mine have from day one. I put them to bed around 8:30 and they don't make a peep until 6:00 am....sometimes 5:15 b/c that's when I get up. They are sooooo good. About the grooming....my friend is a groomer and used to work for a vet. She told me about grooming the yorkies. They are her favorite dog to groom and............the ears are shaved. I haven't seen pics of Pixie since her grooming...but I don't think I'd take her back there. They MUST listen to the customer...DUH. Let's see some pics.

sorry to hear ANOTHER grooming nightmare. I seriously doubt that Shelby will ever go to the groomer.

They are supposed to shave the top third of the ears. They are not supposed to touch the face. Only difference is if you want a "puppy cut" or some people "clean up the eye area"

I like it left alone. I am learning to do it myself but not very good. get some batter operated clippers and try to get Pixie used to the sound.
