Yorkiepoo Size comparison We are considering adopting a Yorkiepoo that is only 3.5 lbs in size. Can someone send me a photo of their doggie by a coke can if they are somewhere around that size. Or some other item that I can easily compare size with . thanks |
Size That's very small. Is he full grown? I bet he's a cute little booger. Be sure and get a full health check hopefully from the breeder. He can probably lay in a saucer. |
Yorkiepoo No he is only 10 weeks old now..but she expects him to be 3.5 - 4.0 lbs as an adults based on parents sizes and current weight. She has been referred highly to me as a breeder.I just am trying to visualize what he might look like as an adult . I have a 5 lb Maltese now but she quickly got attached to my husband and he holds her all day in his lap doing conference calls all over the world... they all know her by name ...and speak to her when everyone is roll calling ...they say " Hi Mel and PattyCake !!! :) |
I couldnt figure out if he is 3.5 lbs now or that is expected weight from your post? How much does he weigh now? If he is 3.5 lbs at 10 weeks old he is going to be much larger than 3.5 to 4 lbs as an adult even if his parents are that size. You have to look at a lot more than just the parents but it sounds like somewhere down his line they are larger. |
new puppy Okay, we went with a AKC Yorkie instead. He is less than 2 lbs now at 10 weeks old... and charted at about 4 lbs. His name is Romeo and he is quite the lover and kisser. I could not be happier! |
I cant wait to see photos :-) |
photos of Romeo I keep trying to post a photo but keep getting this message. |
