Introducing Pepper Jack! 2 Attachment(s) Meet Pepper Jack, my new baby. Male, AKC Parti, 2.1 lbs of fluff. I've been waiting a while for a breeder in my area to have Parti's available. I went to pick up the female pup and came home with the male instead. I've always said I would only have girls because of the marking problem with males, but this little one captured my heart as soon as I saw him. Whereas his sister was trembling and shaking, this little guy looked me right in the eye and licked my nose. He's a mess, constantly on the move, bunny hopping everywhere. Lacey is beside herself with jealousy. I only have to talk to Pepper Jack and Lacey shows up at my feet with a toy wanting me to toss it. She is very clingy right now. |
OMG he's beautiful, congratulations. Give your lil Lacey time and yes more attention even tho it'll be hard with a new baby. Lacey will adjust to the new kid and grow to be great buds. Don't force Lacey on the new baby, she will go to him on her terms when she is ready..... My boy 3 y/o is a rescue, I have him almost 14 months now, he was neutered at a young age, he does not mark, no leg hiking, 35 + years I always had females because I didn't want all that male marking. Consider neutering, it is a health safety issue which may also eliminate marking IF neutering is performed at a early age, check with your vet about the proper age for this. Cody takes kinda a stance when he makes a pee-pee. He is my PERFECT special lil boy. |
Thank you. I hope Pepper Jack will take some type of stance when going. Right now, I can't tell at all. Lacey holds her little butt up when she pees. Pepper does circle when about to do the other, but not to pee-pee. He'll run, stop, run again, leaving behind a little puddle. He will use the puppy pad in his playpen almost every time so I'm hopeful. |

congrats, if I ever got another pup it would be parti for sure, he is darling love the name it seems to fit his cute little face. Is his body all white? |
