Thanks to kittle0024 my baby has her first sweaters. The xxs is much to big on her, so I think it will be awhile till she gets to wear it for real. Here is her first photo with it on.
She looks so sweet.

OMG, lol that is just the cutest, sweetest lil critter ever, how could you put that hoodie on her and never stop kissing that sweet lil baby. Thank you for my first smile this morning. She is just tooooo adorable.

She is just so darned small for anything to fit her yet. Today they had the costumes on sale for half off. I bought her a lady bug and it is huge on her. Maybe next year. I just wish I could find something small enough to put on her now to keep her warm. It will be months before even the xxs fits her.

If you have an old sweat shirt, measure the length of the puppy, cut sleeve the measured length, cut 2 holes under the cuff for the front legs, you can do this with socks also,use the open crew for the head and cut the toe area off. I did this yearssss ago with a tiny baby that was unplanned while I was on a camping trip, she was cold in July, as long as it keeps them warm, that's all you want.

Great idea, but not sure it will work with her. I wear a size petite small womans (yes, I'm very tiny) and I don't think my sleeve will fit , she would walk right out of it. I'm going to look for one of my socks, that may work. I will have to sew around the edges to keep from fraying and keep her from choking on the threads.

I turned the cut part under 2 times and just used a base stitch. As for the sweat shirt, my pup was prob bigger then yours is, mine was to me tiny, she fit in the palm of my hand when I got her at 6 weeks old, the sock worked best as it has a give to it, you'll be surprised at how fast she will out grow the sock, that's when I used the sweat shirt, I have always been under 105 lbs, so my shirts were always a size small, when I used the sweat shirt sleeve, where the cuff is sewn, the seam, I cut the seam to give more room around the throat, the cut part facedher chest, no sewing either,no hanging threads. This pup as an adult grew to be 9 lbs lol. After she out grew the sweat sleeve she use to play with it, I still have it, it's part of her lil memorial.

Great idea! I will use one of my grandsons (7 y/o) socks first, then use one of mine, then the sweater sleeve. I think the sweater I bought her is smaller than the sweater sleeve, so by the time she is 6 months she might not even need it! LOL.
