Sadly yes....I probably posted her pics in the wrong place? I finally understand what having a "heavy heart" means. It happened on May 3rd. I have no fur babies at all now. I will buy one in October. I would like to get one out of the line I got My precious Lizzy from.

I'm so sorry. If you ask the moderator to move this thread to the Special Thoughts Needed Forum, more members might see it and you might get more responses from those of us who have been through this awful time and know what you are going through. Hang in there and try to get through the day hour-by-hour for now. There is not much help for grief except finding a way to get through it. I'm glad you are already thinking ahead and trying to see past your current pain to the future as your current pain must be profound right now. After 15 years of loving and living every day with Lizzy, realizing you need to take your time to deal with her loss and heal before finding yourself another baby who needs a loving home and that that will ultimately honor her life with you in the best way you can - by loving and giving a wonderful, loving home to another sweet little dog. You will always have little Lizzy in your memories and heart.

Oh, what a doll Little Miss Lizzy Lystad was!!! She looks adorable in that picture - just look at those little sunglasses! - and no doubt meant the whole world to her mommie. I'm so sorry she's gone and for the huge hole in your heart right now. Losing one's soulmate is one of life's worst stressors. We all know the pain you are dealing with right now.

Oh, my, you were meant to be together!!! I've never known anyone who had the same exact birthday as their dog! How unique and special. I'll bet birthdays in your house were a blast! :)

She is so beautiful. I'm so sorry you lost her, I know how it just tears us all to pieces when we lose one of our beloved pups. Wish I could be in Washington to give you a hug. :(

I'm so sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful girl. It's hard to lose one you've loved and been loved back from, the 28th will be a Year for me. I couldn't wait that long to get another, my little girl was bore 23 days before my old girl died at 15. I now everyone on here myself included would help take away your pain, I wish you the best in this hard time, and know that we all have at one time or another been there. It does get better slowly with time.

I am sooo very sorry for the loss of your precious lil Lizzy. There are no words that can ease your pain. Another baby may ease your pain,but will never erase the loving memory of Lizzy. Happy to know you are considering another baby in the future. Stay strong, I will keep you in my prayers to help ease your heavy heart. (((hugs)))
