Eddie met his first moose today! Thankfully he wasn't outside. He went ballistic at the back window, and I looked out to see one in the backyard! Scary.

WOW! :eek: It's not everday when one can look out into their yard and find a moose.

So, do you just like wait for this Moose to go away or do you call someone to nicely remove him off your yard? LOL...

Thats awesome!! MY mom is absolutely obsessed with moose(her whole house is decorated in moose themed stuff) and she would just die to see a moose in her backyard. I know its scary for eddies sake, but they really are awesome creatures to see in the wild. I saw a bunch when I went to yellowstone. I didnt realize how unproportionately long thier legs are. Its like they are walking on stilts.

Do you see a lot of them in your area? Or was this a first?

You gotta wait 'em out. They, like, stomp people to death. Not sure what they'd do to a yapping Yorkie. I've seen pictures of cats sniffing them up close, but cats don't yap.

I got a funny video of Eddie yapping at the tracks later on. I'll have to post after work.

That's totally cool Eddie gets to see cool animals like moose and gets to play in the snow all the time. What a cool Yorkie!

Yeah, we see them quite often in the area. I work a mile from home, and we have them in the parking lot frequently. I've seen them in the front yard, but this is the first time I've seen them in the back.

And StewiesMom, that's just plain silly. I'd never let any moose kidnap Eddie.

Don't TELL 'em, Kimberly!!!!!!! Everyone was real impressed about the GIANT moose Eddie singlepawedly barked out of the backyard. (But, yeah, she was kinda cute.)

As for everyone's sliding glass door concerns, they want foliage, not cheeseburgers. I've never heard of a moose getting into a house. Now bears, that's another story...

LOL I saw the video, so which was it... did Eddie see the moose or find the poop first? Had to be total Yorkie overload!! :D :D

After seeing Dublin go crazy over squirrels, I only can imagine how he would react to a moose!!!! I'm sure he would be brave as long as the moose (like the squirrels) is outside!!! :D

He saw the moose first. 24 hours later, he still freaks out when he sees the tracks or the poop.

That is so neat I have always liked mooses. But now I really like thim since I have a moose.

Moose says to tell eddie if he wants to play with a moose his size he can come to florida :D
