Hello :wavey: and :welcome4: to YT. She is such a cutie. I would request to your breeder that she stays until 12 weeks. I know it is hard. You really want her but you will do a great service to her and you. She learns a lot during that time. Bite and socialization. | Congrats! She is a cutie but I agree with Teri. I got my baby Jax at 6 weeks and while I knew he was young I thought I was only getting him 2 weeks early. Anyway Jax is 6 mos today and I am still struggling to teach him what his mom & litter mates would have if he had stayed. He is constantly biting everything that comes near him. I can't pet him, brush him etc. He is afraid of other dogs and some people. We go to training classes every week but class is his socialization and actual training is done at home. He's very smart & is the sweetest lil guy but I can honestly say I wish someone would have told me to wait 6 more weeks, it breaks my heart to know that I could have made his life so much nicer if I would have just asked the family member I got him from to wait a little longer. So please give her the time she needs so she can start her relationship with you well rounded and ready, you will be VERY glad you did! :D |
