So today was bath day and after 2 years of having to trick him and pick him up before I say bath so he won't run under the bed, we had a break through this time.
I decided to say 'bath' first because I don't want to always have to trick him, and right away he goes upstairs under the bed like always:) But I ignored him and filled the tub and put his favorite squeaky toys in there(and squeaked them a few times too:p) and I left and went downstairs and ignored him. So he comes up to me crying, and I said "Whats wrong? Do you want to take a bath with your toys?" And he runs up to bath and turns around for me to pick him up! He couldn't wait until I put him in:eek: So that's why I told him he's a man now:D Here's some pics of him begging to go in.

I love it!!

And I never thought to put the toys in the tub. I usually just try to get the whole thing over with as fast as possible. I'll have to give it a try!

Could you please come to Arkansas and work on Barney? I have to wait until he has finished his nightly zoomies and winds down. Then, I grab him and give him a bath. Unfortunately, I'm pretty wound down myself by then. Thank goodness it's just once a week.
