My first guess is to second ilovelouie's "Snow Prince Appalachia" after the Appalachian mountain region. If you choose that one, I want 2 1/2 bows for spelling it right! j.k.

Other than that, I'm not into chinese astrology, but Little Man's face looks just like the yin yang symbol (see attached)

Here are mine:

Magnolia's Snow Prinz Armand (meaning protective)
Magnolia's Sir Armand of Snow

Magnolia's Prinz Adelfried of Snow (meaning who protects the descendants)

Magnolia's Sir Audwin of Snow
Magnolia's Prinz Audrick of Snow (both mean Noble Friend)

I used the german form of Prince since that is the origin of the breed. You have some really great names to chose from! This has been fun helping you with a name.

It is 12:00 my time so the contest is ended... :) I have several wonderful names to pick from, so I will be going over them for the millionth time...lol. I will try to make my decision by tomorrow. :eek: Like I said it will not be easy you ALL have been great with suggestions. I am going to match the names with his personality.. :p

I will post here tomorrow sometime with my decision of who the winner(s) are as well as a pm to give you your instructions on your bow selections.

I love bows...they're so cute. Not only can't I get them on Baby's head...once I finally do, they fall out! I think her hair is so fine!!! :rolleyes: I would like to try some other bows though :tongue:

Hehe, it's ok we all make spelling errors sometimes. This one I especially chuckled at because my 6yr old cousin Jana just wrote a sticky note on her mouse's cage for when Sully comes over, she wrote, on her own doing "No doggs aloud" - it was TOO cute.

My Name Choice and the Winners Are!!!!
 
First, I want to Thank everyone that submitted names for my little guy... :p

It wasn't easy decision as there were many names to pick from..But I did want to match his name to him and that is how I based my decision.

Since I was given a opportunity to breed to a world winner stud I took that in his name consideration. I had a battle to keep him alive since he had a real bad case of pneumonia and when he was treated they told me not to count on his survival, so I took this in consideration for his name as well.

So his registered name will be:
Magnolia's Snow Prince Arlo "Chance in a Life Time"
Quite a name for a little guy that has finally made it to a pound at 11 weeks of age... :rofl28ib:

So are winners are:
ilovelouie -for the Arlo part of his name

txshopper73-for "Chance in a LifeTime" (studding opportuntiy)

Kathryn_V - for the meaning of Arlo (meaning strong) otherwise I might have choose something else. :)

Everybody. I'm sure this was a hard choice to make, but, Sue, you have a great registered name for your Little Man! And it fits very well! I hope to see his name listed as the winner at some show in the future. And I also hope he is instrumental in helping the AKC to decide to accept these gorgeous yorkies in their registry.

I love the name!!! I always look up the meanings of names as that has so much to do with the name "fitting"

Katelyn, my daughter's name, means Pure Hearted.

Garrett, my sons name, means Brave and watchfull.

The names really do suit them!

I love the name you picked out! And I will love picking out bows! Yeah! Pixie will be so excited! I will be sure to post pics of them in her hair!!!!
