My new baby! 3 Attachment(s) Hi everyone! This is my puppy she's almost 10 weeks old and 1 lb 3 oz. Her hair is thick and kinda wavy and jet black, her hair on the nose, ears, etc is pure golden deep tan color. What are your thoughts on her size and coloring? What color will she be when she is older and how big will she be? Thank you :) |
She's adorable. I think it's too early to tell about the coloring. I have a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old yorkie and I'm still not sure what their final coloring will be. As far as size, it seems that she will be between 2.5-3 lbs. Google yorkie growth chart, one should come up to help you determine size. My oldest yorkie is about 3.5 lbs. Make sure you are very careful with your little baby, they are so fragile! Congrats! : ) |

She's a cutie. My Cali was 1 lb at 9 weeks and is 5 lbs full grown. I can't tell what color or coat she will have, but her coloring and coat texture are very similar to my Cali's. Cali stayed black and has a cottony coat. But it's to early to really know. Did you see the parents? That would give you an idea of her adult coloring and coat. |

First of all, she is super adorable. Her coat will change as she matures. My little girls, Tatiana is 1 year and weights 3.0. She was 1.7 lbs at 12 weeks. I would estimate yours to be around 4-5 pounds. She should gain at least 3 ounces a week. She has a lot of growing to do! Feed often or free feed and remember how fragile she is especially around other pets and children! |

Congratulations on the new addition to your family! She is adorable. My boys were the same colors at that age and they have gold heads now. Max has a blue/black saddle, and Teddy is more silver. They are brothers, but different. All depends on genetics. |
