I was kinda scared to do it myself but it came out pretty good. I have to finish her paws tomorrow because she had had enough of sitting still for one day. Wanted to try a puppy cut but didn't trust myself till get a little more practice

Nice job!!!! I am wanting to cut my Bailey's hair as well. What kind of scissors did you use and where did you get the clippers/scissors from? Thanks kindly:)

Thank you all. I'm used to doing her ears, paws and rear but this is my first time trimming her coat. I remember hacking Gus up so bad I had to take the clippers to him. I would take her to to get groomed but to be honest I am not ready to let her be away from me yet. I know I'm bad and in the long run it's my fault both my babies had/have seperation issues. She is so tiny and I start thinking of all the things that can go wrong and it freaks me out. Because of her size it makes it all that much easier to take her everywhere I go. On the rare occasions that I have left her it just didn't feel right to not have her safely in her carrier next to me. Does anyone else have these issues?

I got the Andis combo kit at Walmart. It came with clippers and attachments. Scissors and comb.

I for one don't see the 'issues' you speak of. Yes, of course I understand you don't like to be separated from her... and for good reason!! I don't see it as having issues though. I think when one chooses such a tiny dog, that it goes hand in hand to know where they are every second... for their own safety. To me it just means that you are a caring and loving furrbaby mom!! Just sayin':) BTW - what do you call 'tiny'? Cheers!

Leiloni is 2lbs and Gus was 3 1/2.
