They are beautiful!!! now this might sound like a really stupid question,and I have read where they were started by the Brewers in Germany,but here goes, out of not knowing any better, what would happen to thier color if they were bred to a yorkie,I love the looks of both,thats for sure, I just was wondering,would they keep there coloring as it is, or would they come out spotted,guess the question is really stupid as it seems like no one would do that, sence a yorkie is a yorkie and a brewer is a brewer..thanks for allowing me to wonder out load

What is the standard size of them? How big do they get,,same as Yorkies or bigger?

Well IMO the patterns as described in the standard may be off in some of the off spring. That's about all I can say. I've seen puppies from the breeding you describe, some look just like Yorkies with a white patch and some may have the markings of a Biewer or close to. It's a grab bag IMO. It was done with this breed early on to create the rich colors and to develop the standard.

I hope I don't offend anyone with my opinions, this is just how I feel.

They are soooo beautiful! :luvu: I wish I had the money to buy biewers too! :D I can't wait to see their website, I know it will be beautiful!

Well, that's yet to be determined. Mr Biewer didn't put the size, only the colors on his original standard. I was taught that they should be less than 8 pounds. However, I've looked at some German websites and I've seen under 10 pounds. I'll just stick with what I've been told until I'm told otherwise. It appears as though breeders in Germany are still working out some of the details, I could be wrong, this is just how I see it.

Kinda like all the other breeds,, ya never really know what ya might end up with,,like my 10.7 pound,,, Biggee boy! :D

That's right..lolol.

My Biewers range from Hope 7 pounds, the biggest and Dice is 3.75 pounds the smallest. I love Hope's size she is sooo cuddly.

Those are just beautiful pictures. I love the white hair, but I could never keep it up the way you manage to!

Here is Dice and 3wks, 3wks, 6 wks, and 5mths..He looks darker because his black has begun to cover the white with his coat getting so long. Something to consider and keep in mind when looking at a Biewer Baby picture.

He's was beautiful from birth!!
