This will be a long two weeks! So my baby girl got spayed on Wednesday.. She is already starting to get bored and keeps jumping and running around. She has so much energy and just wants to play. :(. Its very hard to keep her from doing so and relaxing. |
Don't feel bad -- I had a tough time with Nilla. She may have been a little groggy on day 1 at home, but after that she wanted to run and jump off all of the furniture ... It was a nightmare! I was a wreck! I had to get her a cone too because she kept trying to lick the stitches before we even got out of the vet's office. I ended up getting a soft cone though because we had some issues with the hard one. |

I had to hide all Cinder's tennis balls. She wants to play fetch, and I don't think it's a good idea. 2 weeks is a long time for them to stay quiet and restful. I have tried making her follow me around for a little excerise. I'm with you thought. I just want the 2 weeks to be done! |
I told you this was the hardest part of the spay! Lol I did a lot of sitting with Teeka to get her to just lay around and made sure she didn't jump off the couch. At the time she couldn't jump up on the couch. The only steps she will use are the deck ones and there are only four. Try a chew bone or toy to keep her busy and not rough housing. Best of luck! :) |
