Veterinary neuter certificate 1 Attachment(s) Has anyone else's vet done this?? I literally almost cried when the vet handed it to me! I thought it was the sweetest thing ever and such a good idea! The vet said she has had some big dog owners braek down and cry when handed the certificate! I can totally understand that because a neuter is an emotional and scary time! He was in quite a state when this pic was taken, he had just come out of surgery and looks so confused..glad thats over with! |

haha. No, but that's cute! He looks very brave indeed. I agree, the owner deserves their own bravery citation. It's the hardest thing in the world to drive them there, leave them there and drive off. |

Hehe thanks guys! The crazy thing is, is that I almost couldn't have him neutered! This was the fourth vet I've been to. I haven't been satisfied with the vets I have seen. The vet I went to before this one, did the pre op blood work and told me that he had a freakishly high BUN and that she suspected kidney disease! I was crushed..but I had him retested at another vet, and this other vet looked into it and apparently there is a phenomenon called "the evil yorkie BUN thing", where some yorkies have high BUNs and no actual health problems. Anyway, they retested him and his BUN was normal and no sign of kidney problems so they neutered him! Was a very good day for me when I found out he most likely did not have kidney disease =) |

Yes I do! She is a wonderful lady who seems very knowledgeable! I am moving back to my small hometown in a few days and unfortunately the vet choices there are terrible. Grim had a cough once and the vet told me it might be collapsed trachea from the xray! I literally went dizzy in the office and could barely hear or see anything. She called me a few days later and said "woops never mind, its just bronchitis". I find it hard to find a good vet, and I really like the one I had while in Calgary. |

hahah you mean like the lion? it was such a cute gesture. My vet saw it at a conference she went to, and they do it for all of their clients who have surgery there. |
