So cute. Pitts get such a bad wrap. Raised correctly they are wonderful loving dogs. Those pictures are proof positive of that.
Big and small dogs together make a great pair. The little one thinks they are big and the big one thinks they are small. So I guess together that makes one medium dog. :D |
Sooo true!! Most pits wouldn't hurt a fly, but the idiots who fight them give them a horrible image. I was just reading online about a super-sweet Pit the other day... here is the article.
My pit Honey is just the sweetest (which is why we named her Honey). Wouldn't dream of hurting anyone and just wants to be loved. She thinks she is a lap dog and if I let her, she would totally sit right on my lap all day. She has such a high tolerance for the kids too, it's amazing. Daisy on the other hand, is a different story. LOL. Daisy has all sorts of attitude. She does well with the kids, but tires of playing with them after awhile (which I can understand!), and would rather go chew on a toy. But Honey is just the opposite; she doesn't care for toys and would rather play with the kids and slobber them down. She doesn't seem to mind the kids and their playfulness one bit. It works out quite well! |
