My adopted buddy, Artie! 4 Attachment(s) I adopted Artie from my sister's neighbor, who could no longer keep him. We've had our ups and downs with guarding and aggression issues, but those issues don't improve over night. Things have been improving every day. Artie spent a lot of time alone and in his crate at his previous home. He now shares the house with two calico cats that are about the same size as he is -- and he is a very solid 13 lbs. Everyone gets along nicely. |
awwww congrats and welcome to yt. thank you for giving him a second chance. sounds like hes in a much better home for his needs. he is a real cutie pie. |
He is really cute. Love the pics of him and the cats. |
Thanks! I learned from Sheldon on "Big Bang Theory" that a group of cats is called a "clowder." My two cats have granted Artie honorary membership in their clowder. :) He does, however, tend to steal all of their toys. |
Aww the picture of your 2 cats and Artie is priceless. I am so glad he is in aloving, patient home. |
Aww, he is so cute and sounds like he is going to have a wonderful forever home with you! |
so glad to hear of his new lease on life, he is good looking boy. You will have to join the Yorkie Talk Teapot Club. I got a kick out his yorkie terrorist shirt, that sure can be true at times, and your cats probably think that. Your thread came at a good time for me. I am in favor or rehoming pets when needed to give them a better life. I just posted on two threads where the topic of rehoming was mentioned. However there are many people that seem to think that a dog should never be given up and that every situation can be fixed, but just like your thread proves, often a new home is the best solution there is, thumbs up for giving him a better life. |
What a cutie! Welcome! :) |
Love the pic with your two cats...how precious! Your gonna love the devotion and love these little fur babies give us! |
Oh thank you so much for giving Artie the life he deserves. He is precious!! |
I love Artie unconditionally. He still shows some guarding and aggression issues once in a while, but mostly, he is enjoying his new digs. I've always had pugs and beagles in the past, so this "terrorist" venture is new to me...and I must confess, at times his defiance has been shocking. But I'm flexible, and dedicated. This guy is a keeper! |
What a handsome boy :) My male was a rehome and it is true that it is better to rehome than keep them in a home where they are not wanted. Thank you for adopting him :) |
