Not even surgery can keep Pilot down :) 2 Attachment(s) Pilot had his tail docked this morning and came home about 2. He's doing very well, here's a picture of him after we finished playing. Also a photo of his tail wrapped up. We go Saturday for a check up. I am willing to discuss anything about his tail docking, why we did it, how it was done, ect., but please keep it civil I know a lot of people ask about older tail docking and so far Pilot doesn't even act like he notices, just trying to get used to the weight of the bandage. No worse than a dog getting used to the elizabethan collars in my opinion. |
Pilot is a cutie:) |

He's doing real well, today is the second day after surgery and he is still bandaged up, walking around like he doesn't even notice. Sometimes while playing he'll grab the red bandage and pull, and yelp, but besides that he appears to be pain free. |
Pilot is a real cutie! I love his name too! |
What a handsome boy. |
Awww such a handsome young man.....His ears look great.....my first attempt at ear shaving was not that good so his ears are still floppy lol. Looks like he's doing great post-op. All I can say if it is not something that should be done then a vet would not do it. I'm sure you have a wonderful vet that is taking great care of him. We all do what we think is best for our fur-babies so hopefully everyone will be kind about your decision. |
