I never thought that when Gemy posted photos of QT dock diving that you would have one of her beautiful pups. You and Gemy are the reasons why we share our hearts and home with Katie, and I am so grateful to both of you. I'm so glad that Katie wrapped her paws around your heart and that you decided to open up your heart to another little girl. From what I know about the life Katie had prior to joining our family, Gemy's Razzle and his mom Lola, and your love and devotion to your pups, I know that your little girl has had and will continue to have a very charmed life. I fell instantly in love when I heard Gemy's description of her and saw her photos. My sweet Katie bonded with you from the second she saw you. She knew that you would protect her from any harm and I saw how much you both loved each other when you arrived on my doorstep together. My Katie is a smart little girl, and she saw the love in your heart and how loyal and very special you are. Your Que Tee will soon discover that she has the best mom. I hope she is everything you have ever dreamed of and that she heals your heart and fills it with even more love.

I can send you some snow and some wind. We got more than enough. Thank god that everyone arrived to their destinations safely. I drove my 35 mile drive home from work in five hours. Other people weren't as lucky as me. I came home to a loving little girl and my sweetheart of a husband. It's wonderful having the love of our babies and our other loved ones. It makes everything feel alright.

What wonderful compliments by each of you. Yorkie Talk has been the best catalyst I could have found. There are so many kind, compassionate, knowledgable Yorkie lovers here and I appreciate each and every one. I have learned so much about not only everything Yorkie but also how great the members are here. Were it not for spending time here I would not have known about how important it is to do research for a good breeder. Without Gail's help I would never had known anything about Katie. I'm sure most of you who know Lisa (Lisaly) know how much having Katie has brightened her days. Without Gail's (Gemy) intervention that wouldn't have happened. Now, once again Gail has taken the time to give me a referral to Ilona. I know there are many passionate breeders who are members here and I appreciate each and everyone. I have always thought that once I retire and have the time I wanted a little Yorkie girl to complete my family. It's great to know that Que Tee's breeder has done everything possible to see that the puppies have been born to parents that have had all of the testing and research that every Yorkie should. I know that I can come here and find answers to questions, support, laughter and sensational people. In this day and age where could you find all these great things for free? I hope I can live up to Lisa's compliments! I am looking forward to having a healthy little girl that will bring

I was so glad when you posted on YT after the storm jp there. When I heard that there were lots of people in vehicles stuck in the snow on Long Island highways, my heart kind of stood still and I hoped our Lisa wasn't one of those. Then I heard a spokesman for the DOT there say they had gotten everyone stranded out of their cars but had to leave the cars and I was relieved for all those people - especially if one was you. Yesterday, I heard maybe that wasn't 100% the case - that some did have to stay in their cars all night and worried again! I almost PM'd you but didn't want to be pain. But five hours of driving in a horrible blizzard sounds harrowing. I'll bet you were scared, worried and exhausted and John and Katie were so glad to get you home and safe!

Lisa and Jackie are going to have to get these girls together in time and wow us with an album of the two of them having a Katie/Que Tee Day Of Yorkshire Terrier Fun.

You are so sweet, Jeanie. This post means so much to me. I think this storm really shook me up a bit. A few of my friends tried to persuade me to leave work a little early on Friday because I live so far from work. I felt it was my responsibility to be there, like everyone else. Although I teach high school students, my school district doesn't like to close early because we worry that the younger children might not have a parent at home early in the school day. At most, the high school students will leave an hour early so that the buses will arrive on time to our elementary school to take those students home. That day, we didn't close a minute early and it was a long five hours to get home. There were so many cars that were not able to pass in the deep snow. I did really well until I got stuck trying to get into my driveway. I was completely soaked and frozen when I arrived inside my house. I was so happy and grateful when I saw John and Katie. One of the teachers who I am friendly with at the middle school left a half an hour after me, and she had five miles less to go than me. She had to abandon her car at 2:30 a.m.and had to stay in a Comfort Inn for the night. I felt so bad when I heard that. Luckily her husband was home to be there for her nine year old daughter. It really hit me hard when I realized that I might not have made it home that night, too. I only considered that I might be home late but never that I wouldn't be able to make it home. I would have been panic stricken knowing that Katie and John needed me home. I don't think I'll ever forget this experience. We had over thirty inches of snow, and my street and a lot of the main roads have yet to be plowed. There was about a foot of snow where I work, so there was no disruption to school, but schools are still closed where I live. Thank you for thinking about me. My heart continues to be warmed by the special ties we've formed on this wonderful forum.
