Joels new haircut 4 Attachment(s) I couldn't take it anymore, lol I had to get rid of his afro/mullet, haha So I gave him a mohawk. I think he looks much nicer:) We were both going crazy fixing his hair everyday in ponytails:rolleyes: Or just not being able to see his pretty face! The first 2 are before and the others are his curly mohawk:p |
Ahhhhhh, that is just the cutest curly mo ever. |
OMGosh, I LOVE it! Joel is cute as can be now that I can see his sweet face...it's adorable! Wow, you did a great job on the cut too:thumbup: |
1 Attachment(s) Here's a funny pic from his bath, hehe |

Now that's the cutest face!!! Love the new cut! |
Adorable! Rock on Joel! :rockhard: |
That is the cutest face ever!! I think that cut suits him very well :) |
Awww....your little guy is so incredibly CUTE!! |
More pics Okay I cut the rest of his hair off:D He was so good for the hour I was using the scissors Everyone likes his hair better short, I kind of like it better longer, but it's way easier to groom when it's shorter. One of our daycare parents said now he doesn't look shabby:eek: and she also said she thinks he has ADHD, Which I thought both things were mean, hehe http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/IMAG0387.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...IMAG0409-1.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...IMAG0401-1.jpg |
I saw 'Mohawk' and thought WHAT DID YOU DO, but I have to admit Joel pulls off the look! He's so handsome! |
It's almost all natural, lol because the hair on the sides already go down and the top part is so curly so I only made the sides a little shorter and the rest fixed itself haha |
Oh, he's adorable - NICE job on the hair cut. Do you use an electric clipper on his body hair? ...as for the ADHD comment: yes, rude - people would not say that about each other's kids, would they? She may not have experience with lively, frisky little YTs. IF you can get him to stand still for an hour, as well as sit pretty for these pictures, he sounds about normal to me!! How old is he now? |

Too cute! OMG Joel is cute in either cut :) You did a fantastic job! It might be worth the plane tickets for me to bring Avery to you!! I have taken him for four groomings and all have been terrible. Every time I take him I think I learn a lesson and the next one will be better because of it, but then I learn a different lesson. Haircut 1 - We rescued Avery and he was terrribly matted. They had to shave him down to nothing. Not our fault or the groomers we understand it had to happen. LESSON #1 - Groom your Yorkie daily! Haircut 2 - Took him for a face, feet and fanny cleanup after his hair had grown out to a nice length. Told the receptionist what we wanted. She told the groomer "they liked the cut you gave him before", so the groomer shaved him. LESSON #2 - Talk directly to the groomer. Haircut 3 - Took him somewhere else with a picture of what I wanted. LESSON #3 - Pictures are in the eye of the beholder (she saw something entirely different than what I saw in that picture!) Haircut 4 - Took him to a groomer a half hour from my house that was recommended and five starred. They would follow her anywhere. He was at least four inches long all over his body (he's curly like Joel) and I had put it off so long I had to do something. So I went armed with my instruction which I gave directly to the groomer. Puppy cut (same length everywhere and I like his face round and his legs longer than the rest of his body) She said "so about an inch all around" and I said "OH NO!!! I like him much longer than that all over" I pick him up and he is about the length of your cute little Joel AFTER you trimmed him short! Probably even shorter than that cuz she also nicked his belly and left a sore   which I didn't see til I got home! He is still adorable, of course, but not at all what I told her and she said she understood. I am so frustrated with groomers. Would you like to visit Michigan? LOL I could put you up and Joel could play with Avery :animal36 LESSON #4 - Next time I am putting it in writing, handing it to the groomer, taking a "before" picture of Avery and telling them, "If I pick him up and he is not cut like my instructions, I will not be paying for the services rendered." I know that sounds harsh, but I am truly at my wits end as to why they do not hear what you are saying. |
