Introducing Bella & Dakota
 

We would like to introduce our new two little additions to our family. Annie Has two little friends to keep her active and help her forget about her back leg. They are both wonderful additions to our family. They are from different breeders but both have wonderful personalities. We are excited to see how they mature.

Life sometimes gave you lemons and I am proud to say I went out and made some lemonade. 2012 was filled with a lot of changes some pushed me to the limit and I didn't know how I was going to handle everything. But am very excited to report 2013 is looking very positive. A new job that is more than I could have wished for and two little fur-kids. I can't wait to see these little guys grow up.

Without further ado. May I introduce "Bella Ray" and "Dakota Harley Davidson"



*I would like to let everyone know that we named Dakota after Linda44s Dakota that passed over to rainbow bridge this last year. We had the pleasure to have him in our first gift exchange and the memories that we still have making all the gifts for him are very special to us. Rest in peace Linda44s "Dakota".

Thanks so much!! I am counting my blessings everyday. Amazing how the journey of life takes us on bumpy roads followed by happy times.

They both are beautiful pups! Congratulations!!! I have to ask, how old is each one and what does each one weigh?? We don't have our baby, Princess Sophie, home yet. BTW I love the names!!

You are so sweet to compliment on them. We sure love them. Bella is 12 weeks and she weighs 2 pounds 4 ounces and Dakota is 9 weeks and weighs 2 pounds 6 ounces. They are both doing amazing and the change we have seen in Annie makes my heart so warm. She is up and playing again. You can just read her face she loves having fur kids around. We haven't had them very long and all three are still bonding. Cracks me up to watch them play. I do keep Nutrical and Karo syrup around at all times as Yorkies are subject to Hypoglycemia at such a young age. I have them in separate x-pens since they were from different breeders and I want them to have their own space and time for rest. I weigh them both in the morning and at night to make sure they are maintaining or gaining weight. It is kind of like having a set of twins as I worry about them all the time. Even Annie that is 1 and 1/2 years I don't think I have stopped worrying about her since her surgery and seeing how she has been. Love them all they make my heart smile so much. They all go to the Vet this week. Annie has a check up on her hip and Bella has shots. Dakota is just going to an initial checkup. His shots are not till next month. Can't wait for you to get your little one. How long till they arrive. I can't wait to see pictures!!!

Congrats. They are gorgeous! I'd love to add another, but I'm scared to have 3. I keep thinking some day.

Yes, it is a house full. Keeps me busy at all times. Seems when one is sleeping the other is awake and vice versa. But, have to say I wouldn't change it then again can't wait for them to grow up a little so I can relax.

The best part is watching Annie play with them. She is so happy now and carries herself so much better. Will have to get a couple more toy boxes from you as they grow.

Oh Deb, both your new babies are adorable. I cant tell you how honored we are. You have touched our hearts more than you know. I look forward to watching Dakota and Bella grow, so post lots of pictures. And thank you for making our day! Linda

Thanks again for all the positive comments everyone. All three are all bonding really well. I am hoping to get some pictures of them together soon. They just don't hold still for very long when they are together. I have to say our Dakota is a real fun loving little guy. Loves to be the center of attention. He thinks everyone that comes over is here to see him all ready. I so remember Linda telling me her Dakota was the same way. His name fits him perfectly. :D

Wow! What a couple of little beauties! They are both so adorable and I'm so glad that Annie is loving them too! I'm so happy for you! What fun it must be at your house. What a wonderful tribute to Linda's Dakota! Also, I'm sorry you went through tough times. Glad everything is looking up!

We plan to pick up Princess Sophie at 12 weeks, which will make it March 1st. You mentioning weighing them, I had never thought of that. I have a diet scale here but it doesn't measure oz. What type of scale do you use? I know if I tell my DH we need another scale, he is just going to rag on me so I will need to buy it on the down low. LOL

I just use a standard run of the mill kitchen digital scale. I set a bowl on it and put them in to weigh. It gives me a accurate accounting of how they are doing on their weight when they are puppies. I just try and weigh them at the same time each day. What can I say I am a little phobic about the whole Hypoglocemia and everything. I have also kept a little log of how their weight is, kind of a fun thing for the scrapbook.

Congratulations, their gorgeous! You must be so excited - we added a new addition about 5 months ago you forget how much fun puppies are until you get one again!

They are just Adorable. Alfie says the may get to be just as pretty as his special valentine.
