Meet Mollie!!! 2 Attachment(s) Hey y'all! Well I finally have some pix to share with you of Mollie! I'll give you a little background info first. I really, really, REALLY wanted another dog. I wanted KS to have a sister and I wanted to rescue. Since joining YT and learning of all the dogs that need homes, I was determined to rescue a dog and give it the loving home it deserves. Well everyone I brought it up to, the first words out of their mouths were 'Aymee, you do not need another dog!' Apparently, KS is more of a diva than I think and everyone thinks she likes being the only show in town. Well, I didn't want to believe it, but I think they were right. But I kept on looking. I was online one night and I found this adorable Maltese. She is 2 years old and needed a home. Her original owners did not really have the time for her or know how to properly care for her. The shelter that I rescued her from had her microchipped, spayed, and a dental done. With the dental, she had almost all of her teeth in the front removed. Bless her little heart. Her teeth had been neglected. She is a Maltese and is white. She had serious tear staining under her eyes. But when I saw her online I knew I had to find her a home. The feeling I got when I saw her was exactly like the feeling I got the first time I saw Katie Scarlett. I knew in my heart it was meant to be for this dog to be in my life somehow. So I told the husband and he still did not think we needed another dog, so I called my BFF (my Mom) to talk. Well, I knew she had been wanting a dog. Ever since KS and I came to visit she became so attached to her. She wanted that constant companion like I had and then it hit us both at the same time....why not let Mollie go home to Alabama?!!! So we set it up with the rescue. I am the one who went to meet Mollie and pick her up. My heart sank the minute I saw her. She was absolutely adorable! Big eyes and they just spoke to me. You could tell she was only looking for someone to love. Her and Katie Scarlett played well at the adoption and even curled up together in the carseat on the way home. Well when we got home, it was a bit different. I think KS was upset with me. It took her almost a week to fully forgive me. Even though Mollie was only in our home overnight, I knew that Mollie going to my Mom was the right choice. Katie Scarlett truly is my Diva and likes having Mommy & Daddy all to herself. LOL. So the next day we drove half way to Bama and met my parents to deliver Mollie. She immediately bonded with both of them and it has been so wonderful ever since! They have had her a little over a week now. She is doing fabulous with her potty pad training and is so loving. She is the perfect little companion! I can't wait to go and see her again! I hope soon!!! Mom and Dad have already taken her to the vet to get them aquainted with her. She is up to date on all of her shots and medications. She had her very first grooming today and is a doll! Mom is going to try to grow her hair out some. And her tear stains are getting much better! They were almost black when we met her, and now they are a light tan. Mom washes her face twice a day and uses that Angel Eyes. She is going to be one pampered pup! I just love her! I hope in the future I'll have lots of pix of her and KS to share! Welcome Mollie!:) |
What a pretty little lady Miss Molly is, she is so lucky to have both you and your parents come into her life, she is going to be one loved and very well taken care of pup, and I bet well dressed as well. Wish your parents lots of luck and years of love from Lola and I. |

Oh, what a little girl doll of a dog! She is absolutely adorable and just has a precious face and expression. She should show up very well in photo's with her light coloring and those large, expressive eyes, beautiful pigmentation. I'll bet you really are the proud "new" sister to have this girl in the family! I'll bet your Katie Scarlett will come to love her in time but if not - if Diva's do reign supreme all their lives and barely tolerate others - so be it - a dog's gotta to what a dog's gotta do when you are the beloved "only"(my Jilly was a true Diva) - but should she bond with her, what fun they can have when you all visit. I'll bet your parents are over the moon over little Mollie! Mollie is a blessed girl to have found such a wonderful forever home. |
