My beloved Boo-Boo

Hello all. New to forums and especially to a Yorkie forum. Below is my beloved Yorkie-poo Boo-Boo. I am disabled and was home alone all day. I have always had dogs. Since I can remember i have always had a dog. We had a Sheltie/Border Collie mix that was 14 that we had to have put to sleep. We had him from 6 weeks old. Devastating loss. I swore no more dogs after but this little guy showed me different! How I got him and what he has taught me is a long story. One that I will share at a later date. Anyways here is the little guy.

BooBoo is quite the little man!!! Welcome to YT, to both of you! I can just imagine how handsome he would be in a halter, rather than a collar!!! Great for any possible "rescue maneuvors", as small dogs, especially our beloved Yorkies, frequently find themselves in compromising situations in everyday life! A halter would also be better on his little trachea, as small dogs have very small tracheas and they can be easily damaged by collars! Again, welcome to both of you!!!

Thank you all for the great responses. He doesnt wear a collar very often. But he will not wear it at all now that I know about the dangers. I am curious why BooBoos vet never mentioned the dangers of a collar. Anyways thank you. Hurting this little guy is the last thing i want to do. He is not my pet. Has always been, and always will be, my friend. His name came from the way the hair covered his eyes when its grown long. Its a tuft sticking out of his forehead just like BooBoo in the Yogi Bear cartoons!! The full name on his vets info is BooBoo Bear and then our last name. The vet gave him another name when he had to spend an overnight there. Mr. Vocal!!! She said he is very vocal. I said you don't know the half of it!! Thanks again all.
