These boots were made for walking...... 1 Attachment(s) We are having freezing rain right now and even though I have put boots on chloe before I have never spent the time to get her used to actually wearing them so I decided now was a good time. Unfortunatley she wont move :D . But she sure does look cute just standing there. :p |

she is too darn cute! I wish I can get boots on Gus. The one time I tried he did the funny walk and we all laughed,,, then he just stood there like chloe. But then he started to cry. Not like cry out loud but you could see the tears and his and his hair was wet. I felt so sorry for him! I think they look so cute with them on but don't have the heart to try it again. |

OM! that is so funny. Same experience here, with boots :mad: .. They have the same feeling about boots as they do when they get a piece of tape stuck on their foot. ( not good) Luved the picture. I wondered the same as Villette,, do ya carry her outside now! LMAO :D |

I knit the sweaters for Alfie and Lottie I have made quite a few now as they are so easy to make and i just add things or change the type of wool to change he sweater. Thanks for all the compliments now shanatink how did you get her to keep those boots on and walk! |

:) I dont knit the sweaters but I sell them on my website. AS for the boots, yes chloe has worn shoes before but only for photos/modeling. The situation with dog shoes is yes they never like them at first but you are supposed to get them used to wearing them. I just never got around to this yet until today with chloe. Once I put those boots on her I left them on her for a few hours and after awhile she got really good at walking in them. I encouraged her to walk towards me using treats. I dont think she minds them now. My chihuahua still hates shoes and we have tried several times with her. She prances all funny in them. I wouldnt recommend leaving shoes on a dog unsupervised. Im so excited though because chloe did really well and my back yard is covered in ice- so just in time! |
