Rory and Lane are "Facebook Famous" thanks to Ellen DeGeneres!
 

Last week, I posted a picture of Rory and Lane dressed like Sophia Grace and Rosie of The Ellen DeGeneres Show fame on the show's Facebook wall and also submitted it on the website. If you don't know who they are, this probably won't make much sense to you, but they are worth checking out on youtube if you aren't familiar with them. :)

I was without my computer for a few days this week, and I was so surprised when a friend showed me The Ellen DeGeneres Show had posted the picture on their Facebook page, and my sister's coworker found it on the website too!

I'm so shocked at the number of likes, shares and comments they have received! Even better most of the comments are pretty positive...you know how strongly some people feel about NOT dressing their pets, and I think most of you know my stance. ;) The website says they are both rescues, which isn't true, only Lane is a rescue. I guess someone got confused in my submission when I said that Rory taught Lane, former breeder dog in a puppy mill until the authorities busted it, how to be a dog. :aimeeyork

That is neat. I just saw that pic on Facebook the other day and saved it to my phone, so I could share it with everybody. I didn't know they belonged to someone on here. They are both beautiful.

Thanks! I get a real kick out of Sophia Grace and Rosie. There is something about a British accent on an already adorable child that makes the cuteness level rise exponentially!

I must say it's been pretty fun watching the "likes" go up on Facebook. I thought their fifteen minutes were already up, but I think they might have a good 30 seconds left!

Thanks! Is it sad they already have a closet full of tutus in various colors? It wasn't very difficult to replicate the look. They do NOT, however, have purple tutus like Sophia Grace and Rosie are wearing in the tea time segment on the TV behind them.

Thanks! I already have a tendency to humanize them, so this was too hard of an opportunity to pass up, especially since Lane (blonde) is Rory's little follower, much like Rosie looks to Sophia Grace.
