He sure is a cute little guy. We also had a rescue from Korea as well.

Nancy, when my hubby was stationed in Korea, our late Molly was a stray running around on the base. She was kept at the Base Vet for 45 days' and no one claimed her. Hubby kept checking up on her and on her last he went and asked what was going to happen, they were going to PTS and hubby told them hell no your not. So he adopted her and brought her home on leave. She was a horrible mess and she turned out so beautiful.
She flew on the plane with him in the seat next to him. The only thing required was UTD Vac's and a Health Certificate. There was no waiting period.

I loved my Miss Molly girl so much. She passed in Oct. 2010 of Cancer.

Nope, as long as he has all his vaccinations and microchip paperwork, customs is pretty easy from what I understand. I won't leave him behind! Even if it means hiding him under my shirt and hoping the full body imaging machines are down when I go through airport security! :thumb up: I am going to Alaska for a few weeks this summer so we'll see how it goes!

Molly was adorable, Vicki! And she came here all the way from running loose on a base in Korea!!! What a story you have to tell. You should write a little book about her.

What a great story, and what a great husband you have. That's so neat that a tough military man can stand up for a sweet little Yorkie. She was a real beauty once you took care of her, thanks for sharing your story.

What a nice story and thank you for giving him a good home, as you have already found out he will bring you so much joy and he is such a cute little fellow. I look forward to having you a member of YT, I have grown to love it here, perhaps we can help you feel closer to your US roots.
