This is my latest little rescue. His name is Gizmo but I call him peanut and I do not think it really matters as he answers to cmere anyways lol. He is 5 pounds and just a beauty. He was owned by a byb and a women in Cloumbus rescued him but her big dog would have nothing to do with him so she surrendered him to me. He is UTD on all his shots, flea meds and Rabies. He does need to be neutered and a dental which I will do but would want to be reimbursed.

Gizmo is handsome and I love his hair. How could anyone have thought of giving him up (is beyond comprehension)?! I pray that you are able to find him a forever home where he will be showered with boundless love and attention.

I read your post in the other forum. Gizmo is such a handsome boy! I hope you can find the "perfect" forever home for this little one. Thanks for all you do!

Well the little guy slept all night from 11pm until 6 am. Let him out with the rest of the pack and he was such a good boy. He seems to be fitting in with the rest of the pack rather quickly so someone needs to hurry and give him a new home or I am gonna be mommy of 6 lol.

awww, I think he wants to stay with you... :) ,, he is super handsome.. and 6 is not a bad number.. I am mommy to 5 and one more would not hurt...LOL

he is very handsome and if you were closer i would see if he was a purrfect fit for my cedric to have a brother. i am glad hes fitting right in though some things are just meant to be...hehe. thank you for saving him.

I already have my limit so hubby say's. 2 chihuahuas and 1 yorkie, which they all have me wrapped around thier little paws. Have a nice day and good luck.

Carmen have you lost your mind? I have 5 now, but then again, he is so little and does not eat much and really does not take a lot of space and he is getting along well with all the others. Oh Lord stop me, I do not need another fur kid. Someone will take him and give him a loving home I am sure.

Vet says gizmo is around 5 years old. Since he has been with me since yesterday he has not went in the house at all, he actually held it from 11 pm last night until 6 am this morning. I was impressed.
He is very loving and scared right now but I am working with him.
I have made an appointment for tomorrow morning for him to be neutered and have a dental. The total for that will be 190.00 and that is only if they do not have to do extractions.
One more cute little thing. When I asked the pack if they need to go outside they all come running and after only two times of doing this Gizmo has caught on.

Gizmo might be adopted. I just talked to a woman named Chelsea. She is on her way here to meet him, I told her he is going in for surgery in the morning and she is more than willing to pay for it all and spoil him like a little Prince. We will see but I still have to do a home check. Hope she understands

You are so great to give Gizmo a chance at a wonderful life. I hope this lady will be a great fit for Gizmo and he lives a very long and happy life. I would have loved to spoil him rotten, but I live in NV.

My Sparrow is a rescue too. She was given up by her breeder because of her LP and she is just a bit over 4 lbs. so she wasn't the best candidate for breeding. Sparrow is very well behaved. She was such a scaredy cat with all people, and it took her 5-6 months to find a home. I'm the only one she didn't run away from or bark at. She walked up to me and leaned up against me so the rescue person had me come back to meet with her a few more times before I got to take her home. I love her more each minute. I'm convinced she's a puppet that was made perfect because she is way too cute to be a real dog.

Well the woman came and seen him. she loves him but wants her husband to meet him on Thursday. I am on my way to the hospital with my daughter who is having a hysterectomy today, after they take her back Ihave to run back here and grab little Prince Charles, that is what DH is calling him now, take him for his surgery and back to the hospital with my daughter. please pray for this family today.

Well just to update everyone. Let me start by saying, WOW, what a busy day. My daughter came through her surgery just fine and they will be keeping her for a couple of days. I just left her about an hour ago and she was sleeping. She will be staying with me for a couple of weeks so that she can recover. Now the bad news. Gizmo did not get to have his surgery because the vet heard something in his heart that he was not sure of and because Gizmo has stage 4 peradontis, not sure how to spell it. They put him on atibiotics which he will start on the 23rd, three days before his next schelduled surgery, the 26th. Then they will do the dental and the neutering and micro chip and also they will have him hooked up to an EKG machine because he wants to see what his heart does. He thinks Gizmo will be fine but does not want to take any chances with him. He is using the EKG machine for free cause he is such a great vet. I just love this place. Anyways, Gizmo is home with me now, my daughter is in the hospital recovering and I am ready for a bubble bath and a glass of wine.

so glad your daughter is doing well! better safe than sorry with gizmo but i hope the lil prince will be ok with no complications. your vet does sound awesome and the prices seem so resonable. now take that bubble bath and have 2 glasses of wine. hehe.

I did take the bath and I feel so much better but we were all out of wine :(
