as reluctant as I was to cutting off Ting Ting's hair....her level of misery was showing more and more...so last night I had to bring up the clippers and do what I didn't want to do. And the funny thing was she was more than cooperative....she sat/lay there as if she was saying goodness about darn time....she seems to be enjoying her new hair do. She is a lot like me. We can't take the heat but we love some ac...lol

my thoughts exactly...she isn't huffing and puffing as fast as she was....usually all it takes is her running up the stairs to go outside and potty and she is sweating...

I love Ting Ting's new cut!! I keep Jada and Bogie in that cut year round now. Jada acted like a young puppy when I cut of her floor length hair last year. Ting Ting looks simply gorgeous!!!

well i plan on leaving Ting Ting, Ting-ki and Sun-Hye in this cut...i don't know about year round since our winter here gets pretty nasty sometimes...but for the rest of the season they will be rocking this hair do..lol

love it she looks gorgeous. i wish my husband would let me do this cut on cedric. he is insisting that we leave it long!! its so much work. i have assigned him to brushing duty from now on hoping that will help change his mind. lol

btw all your babies are just gorgeous!

lol well you should also assign him to bathing and blow drying him also...lol i am sure he will get tired of it...thanks

Oddly enough, the hair actually keeps them cooler in summer and warmer in winter. We have to cut Azrael like that because she has an extremely thick cotton coat that we can't manage at all.

well i dunno...for some reason she seem really miserable after going outside with all that hair...Ting Ting has a really thick modified silk coat...and rarely ever mat but if she does it is easily brushed out...now she seems more relaxed and doesn't huff and puff after just going outside to potty...she is like me i guess...can't really take the heat and never ever mind the ac or cold weather.

thank you and it seems like is really more comfortable...she was outside most of the morning and didn't huff and puff like she was the other days from just going outside to potty...

Ting Ting looks so cute. That cut definitely suits her. Glad to hear she is happy and more comfortable with the new cut.

She looks great. You did a fantastic job. I am getting 2 of mine groomed this week. I am cutting Cali down to a puppy cut. I would love to cut her like that but I have a hard time keeping matts out of her leg hair.
