Yeah I finally have pictures of Lola
 

I am excited because I was able to get some pictures of Lola in an album here. My photos have been way to big to post and for some reason I can't seem to resize them properly. I posted two here that other people took that seem to work, one of her as a puppy the other at our Halloween yorkie meetup. But there are some better ones in my albums, so if you want please take a peek at our cute little mutt Lola, we love her to pieces.

thanks, yes she is a yorkie-pom mix. I usually think puppies are cuter but when looking at her pictures at 5-6 months I think she is better looking as an adult. She is 15 months now and to us looks more like a yorkie, except as you say fluffy, her tail is all Pom though and one of our favorite things about her. I have had four purebred yorkies before, 3 from show breeders and they all had properly docked tails which I loved. So orginially my husband and I were just not loving the idea of the tail, but now we think it's the bomb!

Lola is a doll!!! Just gorgeous:)

5. View: full size
6. Right click and save to your computer.

Or if you want to post a larger photo, copy and paste the Direct Link and put it in the post. The photo will be what ever size it is saved as on your computer. There will be no thumbnail just a code like below.

Direct Link: The photo is the same as the thumbnail but because I copied the link it will be the size it is on my home computer.

wow! oh my goodness i am so taken with her! i always wanted a yorkie-pom. i love both breeds so much. i've never seen one that favors the yorkie so much though she's beautiful. i love her tail too! :2hearts2:

you never know what the mixes will look like. i think it's so interesting to see which genes take dominance. she is sure a treasure. :)

thanks I appreciate the nice feedback. I never gave much thought to poms but have always loved yorkies but my last yorkie as cute as he was, was such a handful that he almost ruined me from wanting another dog. About a year after his death I decided it was time, but was looking for something different but not to different. Lola was four months old when I saw her little face in the classified section of the Detroit Free press, after visiting the home where she was for sale, (but not where the parents were) I took a chance and paid $450.00. Since I could tell she was the age they claimed I had a very good idea how she would look full grown (always have bought my puppies, at 3 or more months of age). I post dated my check by a day and took her straight to the vet and had full blood work up done as well as a check up. She got a great report and so far all has been good. But you are right you never know what you will wind up with a mix breed, her brother looked nothing like her, he was smaller and 100% dark brown. I have seen a few since, one was about 20 lbs and all tan, most look nothing like Lola. Besides (IMO:D) her looking so good, she has a great personality, she loves other dogs, loves to fetch, swim and loves people. It's sort of sad because I loved my little guy Kirby, but I have gone from having the most disliked dog in the neighborhood to the most popular. Friends have said they want a "Lola" but not only did I spay her, I tell them I have no idea of her background and could never promise they would even look like her. After spending on average of $1,200 for my other yorkies, my husband and I marvel at our luck with our bargain dog:D:D But shhhhhsh don't tell Lola that, she thinks she is priceless:cool:
