Favorite toys 3 Attachment(s) Like Heidi, I expect most everyone's furbaby(ies) has a favorite toy that has received an awful lot of love. What's your furbaby's very favorite toy? Here is Heidi's. She got Piglet the day she came home at 12 weeks. Even after 3 years, to this day she will choose him above all others. Piglet has had multiple surgeries front & back, and had to redo surgery a few times because his stitches didn't hold. Its truly a miracle he doesn't look worse with all he's been through. He must be a good swimmer too, as he's been known to take a spin in the washer on occassion. :) How about seeing some more "well loved" Yorkie toys. |
Hi, this is my 1st post :) Your Heidi is adorable!!!! After looking at the mended Piglet I believe I can give Sheldon's Lion another chance. We just adopted Sheldon at 10 weeks, we got him last Saturday and this morning I noticed he ate part of both ears so I cut them up. When I got back this afternoon the tail was gone  Ahhhhh! There is a little hole o one of the legs so I am wondering if is safe to fix it. Maggie PS: How do you post pictures? tried with no success. |
Karen, Heidi is too cute with her piglet. My girls have several toys, but they were 2 1/2 when they joined our family and never appeared interested in them... maybe bc they have each other to play with ;) And...WELCOME Maggie :) there is a size limit for pictures, so you probably need to resize it and try again. |
She is just cute with her Piglet. I have some toys that have lot's of stitches as well. |

If he's actually eating it I would be extra careful & not let him have his lion anymore. That could be really bad for him. Also if the toy has button eyes, they usually go right for those eyeballs so you might cut them out & sew up extra heavy duty or give him some toys that don't have button eyes & are pretty sturdy. Those little puppy teeth can be like razor blades! LoL Hope its fixable for him if he really likes it! I'll be looking forward to those cute Sheldon pics! |

Hi, thank you so much for the warm welcome! Sheldon's lion is a dog toy so no buttons. My husband and I decided it wasn't worth the headache. We are so afraid of him eating it and shoking. I need to find another stuffed animal that is sturdy enough for those razor teeth. I found a great toy today, it is called squek freaks and he loved it, perhaps they make a stuffy with the same material. I posted an introduction thread on the picture section but can't find it, I was only able to post one picture though...weird. No iPhone here:( I have a Droid. Maggie |
1 Attachment(s) I managed to post pictures, one at a time though lol Here is our Sheldon on hist 1st day at home :animal36 Attachment 362363 |

1 Attachment(s) Awww! How cute! Love that pic and the story! So far KS's go to toy is a plastic foot. Tee hee! I know it's weird, but she chooses her foot over any toy. I got it for her for Christmas and she plays with it, sleeps with it too, everyday! She has a thing for feet and this keeps her from nibbling at ours. LOL. This pic was from when it was new. It no longer has 'nail polish' on the big toe. I bought this at PetSmart in the toy section but it looks like a severed foot laying around our house. It always cracks us up. |
Mikki's favorite toy is what ever is in her line of vision! :D Rosie on the other hand loves her Hide a Squirrel. She also loves the fleece braided toys. |
1 Attachment(s) Out of all the bazillion (yes it's a word :D ) toys ZoE has and all the money I've spent on toys, her absolute favourite is a little fish squeaky toy from Meijer that cost $1.97  |
