I'm Not Crazy? / Or am I? (VDB) 3 Attachment(s) This is my first YT ball, so I'm new to this.:lv32: When telling my hubby about it he was totally weirded out by the whole thing. He just shook his head. After my daughter found out, I showed her the thread. Well lets just say she thinks I'm Crazy! She said that there were too many people on here with too much time on there hands. "Oh well, I am guilty of a lot of things. I never claimed to be sane". :tongue036 On the other hand my son was very excited about the whole idea of getting together for the VDB. He wanted to know if we were going to someones house to see all of the Yorkies or if they were coming here. I had to break it to him that it is in Spirit only. Just pictures !! I only had to explane it to him three time before he got it. To say the least he was a bit disappointed. So, what does your family think about the YT VDB? Please share . . . :D I guess most people would think we are crazy!!! My daughters think it's a great idea and had fun reading the many poems to woo each other. One of them even commented "Oh wow mom, I love Yorkie drama". It's one more way us crazy Yorkie parents show our never ending love for our darlings;). |
2 Attachment(s) Your gang is adorable!! And no you are not crazy!! :p My DH has learned to just go with it. :D This year he was even asking about the girls "dates". So we had to show him pictures for his approval. :p So, he has learned to jump right in. Now on the other hand, my 14 year old thinks I am a crazy nut case. He rolls his eyes and tells me I am weird. Ha ha. That is just fine with me. :rolleyes: I buy the girls new dresses and really get into the spirit of the ball. We have fun! Here are my babies. Some of you have seen these a thousand times!! My DH thinks its cute:) The day I signed Jada up and was waiting to see if she got a date...he called me 2 or 3 times wanting to know if she had a date yet:D |

My husband gave the "That's interesting; whatever makes you happy." phrase. After almost 12 years of marriage, I now know this means "You're a nutjob lady, but I love you anyway, so whatever floats your boat." So yeh..my dh thinks it's a little odd too...but I don't care.:p |
my friends think i'm crazy enough about my yorkie, they don't know how deep my addiction goes, aha if they knew i was dressing up meesha for an internet valentines day ball they'd think i'd lost my mind, this is my secret little addiction forum where i can be as crazy about yorkies as i want because everyone else on here is just as crazy about them, here its normal hehehe |

2 Attachment(s) My DH said he couldn't care less about it but is happy that I enjoy it. I am constanty reading him postings from the thread. He patiently listens then goes back to what he is doing without commenting. I love it and am living vicariously thru my Brandy girl. The first picture below is from last years Ball when she went with Beamer. He is not attending this year. I wonder if he got in too much trouble last year because he got home late. This year Brandy is going with Noah. Hopefully he won't get in trouble too. She really is a good girl ;) |

I go from a human to a lioness in about 2.2 seconds. I will move in for the "kill" and ask questions later. :rolleyes: You know these Yorkies make their way into our hearts. But they also worm their way into DH's. I think that is why they tolerate our craziness! |

And we all know there is ton of crazy stuff people r doing right now online that makes dressing your yorkie up in formal attire for an Internet doggie ball look completely sane and normal lol I can't wait till next year so Strudel can have a date!! I didnt have him when it first got started so we decided to just watch this year :) |
hahaha most people think im crazy cause my furr butts are my kids. they come first and i just get the eyeball roll from people but i dont care. until you have owned a yorkie u will never understand how they just take ova cause they are the awesomest!!!! |
