Introducing Bayleigh Laine
 

Hi, we're new to the forum and I just wanted to introduce my Yorkshire Terrier mix to everyone. I adopted Bayleigh from the shelter that I worked at before it shut down (another dog and a cat too). She was surrendered at the age of 3 months by an elderly woman who wanted a dog badly but soon found out that puppies are evil! :p The poor lady's arms were shreaded from little puppy claws. She had called the previous day and I had planned on fostering her. Bayleigh was/is my first and only foster failure. I don't plan on it happening again. ;) Supposedly, her mother was a typical looking Yorkie and her father was a pure white Shih Tzu. I don't know... I joined this forum because I have some questions about coat color/type, even though she is a mix. She takes after the Yorkie side so much more. I don't have any recent photos on this computer so I'm taking them off FB. She got her first hair cut two weeks ago. She looks very different from these photos now.

These are her first night home, 3 months old. She had never touched grass before. Ever. It didn't phase her one bit.

I originally named her Gremlin. Can you guess why? She doesn't even look like the same dog anymore.

OMG! What a beautiful fur family. :) I had to chuckle at a couple of the pictures of Bayleigh Laine--in a good way. Love her name. She's absolutely adorable!

Love the pics with her one ear standing up. Thank you for giving her a furever home. She looks like she's fitting right in. :)

Welcome to YT. OMG, what a gorgeous family you have. The picture of them all together looks like it should be in a calendar. Bayleigh is so adorable and looks like she is loving life with her new family. Beautiful!

Bayleigh is beautiful; and, your other two babies are precious!!!

Please don't take this negatively but I noticed that Bayleigh is not wearing a harness but a chain collar. Yorkies' tracheas are very delicate and she should be in a harness instead.

She only wore it once and I can't find it now. But, I know.

You have a beautiful family of 3 and my daughters are in awe!!!

I want to thank everyone for the comments on my canine children. I wasn't sure if she would be welcomed because she was a mix. I'm glad people think she's cute. I need to get some updated pictures off the other computer.

The day of her hair cut! She looked like a totally different dog. I let the groomer use her imagination. She got a pretty Christmas bow! Next time, I know just to do her body. I don't like her face short and I miss her eyebrows.
