Does your Your Lay like this??? 4 Attachment(s) Sometimes when Max is really hot or really tired he just plops down on the floor like this.... Growing up we had a little "westie" terrier (Miley-RIP) who used to do the same thing... I thought it was just a terrier thing because my other dog has never done this (Snowflake), and I think its just the cutest thing :rolleyes:. So is this a terrier thing? haven't really caught Geno laying like that but my mom's dog, Annie, does that all the time. She's a scottish terrier and everytime she does it, we say, "Annie is laying like a little rug" :) |
Yep, both of my girls lay like that. I think they like the way the nice cool tile feels on their tummies when it's hot:laugh: |

My babies do this when it is hot. They lay on the kitchen floor like that. Love those little back feet!! :p |
Romeo lays like that often but especially after running around (and getting too hot!). I think it's the cutest relaxing pose ever :D |

Buster lays like this ALL THE TIME! lol When he's playing with his ball like Max in the 4th pic, when he's sleeping, when he's just relaxing.. ALL THE TIME! I think he looks like a little frog :) lol |

I had mentioned to my vet that mine lay this way a lot and she said good, they have good hips lol |

I had always heard laying like this means they have good hips too, then I got Mylee who has hip displasia and has had 2 surgeries. Now she has one leg shorter than the other! :eek::eek: Ok, it's not really (that much) shorter, but she still likes to lay like this even with her bad hip. LOL. |
