More pix of Ferg's 3 Attachment(s) This weekend was two weeks at home for our newest family member. She's really settling in and it already seems like it's been forever (which is a good thing). I wanted to put up a few shots I took recently. The first one is hard to tell, but it's her armpit area on her front left leg. She was a scratching machine when we first brought her home and she'd scratch/chew herself until she would have an oozing wound. The vet had her on meds for about 10 days. They've cleared up and the scabs have fallen off so here's a shot of the fresh skin. I guess it will take a while for the hair to grow back out in these spots. The other shot was after her weekly bath and the last is during her "nap time" while we are watching football. |
What a sweet, pretty girl:) So glad her skin is better now:D She looks very comfortable in her new home:thumbup: |
what a doll! im glad she's settling in well |
Fergie is so cute! I'm glad she adjusted well and is loving her family like she always belonged there. :) (which she does ;) ) |
How precious! |
Awww, sweet baby girl. :) So glad she is doing better with her skin condition. I remember in your post that her skin was a concern. Looks like she is fitting in to her new home. |
I'm sorry but after watching the toilet video and seeing all the junk outside the bathroom door I decided to see other posts of Fergie. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this previously, and I am not trying to bully or be mean. I'm surprised you were allowed to adopt Fergie... you're home in the second pictures looks very very messy as though there are white trash bags and junk every where. Most rescues do a in home inspection and I am assuming they did NOT for Fergie or that they just didn't care. I do foster care and my home is inspected weekly, if it looked like that Izzy would have been taken back immediately. That's fine if that's how you want to live, but I would suggest making sure that when taking pictures to post here on YT that you choose your background more carefully. There is a lot of constuctive criticism on here as we all care more about our yorkies then we do ourselves. Same goes when talking to other members a lot of us have the yorkies well being in mind more than the members. Although we all strive to be friends! |
Well, since you brought this up and you assume what the bags are, those are actually the four Sunday papers we have delivered weekly in order to donate the coupons from three of the papers to local groups. They are on the floor near the wall for us to go through later that night. The pic was taken Sunday morning. So no, its not trash. And yes, we actually had two home visits done by two separate people. |
