He finally excepted the topknot :) now i have to do it everyday, or else knowing him, he'll suddenly forget all the hard work we put in to get to this point!lol.. Thanks to everyone on here who helped us!!!

And I finally learnt how to attach photo's :D

I tried the top knot a few times, but after the tiny special elastic was no were to be found I was afraid Molly may have eaten so was concerned. I have been using the clip bows only when we go for a walk or when I can keep an eye on her. Any one else have a suggestion

Ziggy is a little sweetheart! He will get used to his topnot and won't even notice that it's up there. ;) My Toto wore one for the entire 8 years of her life and this summer I cut her really short ... all over! :eek: I was traumatized when I cut her long braid and for days after but we are both happier now. Later, we will let it grow back. Can't wait to watch your little Ziggy grow and hear all about his adventures. :)

eek, that is always a fear of mine.. luckly im home with ziggy all day long. but i also started off with the croc clips.. but they were really bad at slipping out.. i have found though that the latex bands dont slip out.. also, take as much hair as you can, it seems to be working for us, it stays put even after naps and playing. so at night im cutting them out- but they're dirt cheap so i dont mind.

omw, i would be traumatised too.. why did you cut it? well i'm glad you two have gotten use to it and like the short hair. Before i got Ziggy i always thought i'd keep my yorkie in a puppy cut, i just think its so cute.. but being on YT gave me long-hair-envy, lol.. so we are going to try this hair thing out..

What A CUTIE!!!!!

I remember Riley's fist "Ninja Knot" !! It was too cute... sticking straight up in the air and not even 1/2 an inch! LOL!!

Unfortunately, due to my health ... heart attack last October and already severe osteoporosis that got more severe over the last year. Fortunately, my little Toto is as healthy as a little horse! :thumbup::thumbup: I groom her myself and just didn't feel like grooming as often as I wanted and it was so frustrating because she loves her baths, etc. I would be much better off if I trusted a groomer but have had so many bad experiences with them that I won't let another one touch her. It is so much easier to bathe her with it short. She wore the long "show coat" for a long time and even after I cut the long coat, I left her beard and long topknot. I can't wait to see Ziggy's grow, you will love it. The most important thing will be brushing every day. ;)
