And then there were three 3 Attachment(s) Our family increased today by one little boy. Nope, please do not misunderstand me Joan has not given birth but we did collect our new Yorkie puppy boy today. He is exactly eight weeks old and I consider him to be a little young to be taken from his mother but the vet says it is fine. It is now obvious we were lucky with Raggs and Ruby as they settled in right away with no crying at all. This little guy who is only 1.5 lb cried all the way home in the car stopping only when I rubbed his ear. Raggs and Ruby have made him so welcome with the mothering instinct showing in Ruby who seems to push Raggs away with her body if he gets a little rough. He will spent the night in the crate so we can assess how he settles in and after a few nights he can then go in with the other two. Attachment 351472 Attachment 351473 Attachment 351474 |

His name is ROBBIE in memory of one of my Spaniels who we lost a year ago now. This poor little chap is a real cry baby but I did mange to get a coffee at 3 am with Joan as we sat nursing him back to sleep. He went off to sleep again within fifteen minutes and two doting skin parents went back to bed. We got him home yesterday just after 4 pm with the small bag of food the breeder gave us. We still have that some place where I have no idea but this little man now has a healthy appetite for roast chicken and can devour it in quantity I can tell you. We are hoping to collect another little lady towards the end of next month if all goes well with the litter. I will then close the family books as I consider four fur butts a nice size family to have at my age. Only had him less than 12 hours and already he can get into places I cant get in to.....lol Attachment 351520 Attachment 351521 Attachment 351522 |
Congratulations, he seems to have found a wonderful forever home. He sure is cute, glad the others like him. I have 4 and think that is a good number, only because I had to beg DH for my little giirl Sassy. |
Congrats Robbie is a cutie pie :) Can't wait to see your new little girl when you get her!! |
Congrats to you! He is adorable!! |

We can see him starting to settle in as he gets a little more adventuress. He came out of his crate on his own today and made signs to the other two that he wanted to play. We are expecting to see a big difference in him tomorrow. This photograph is showing six month old Ruby who has now been "Genetically Modified) looking after the new baby. Attachment 351532 |

I have never heard a puppy cry so loud during the night and have now told Joan he is to be left to get on with it as if we jump to his every cry then we are only training him to call us whenever he feels like doing so. Ruby does follow him all over the place and as soon as he has done his potty she is there trying to clean him up. I just can not believe that a six month old puppy could mother a young pup like she does. :D:D |
Soooo adorable!! Congrats!!! |
What a darling baby! It looks like he's 'fitting in' already LOL :p |
So cute! It is great that he has some fursiblings to play with and take care of him. He is sure to be a curious little joy in the years to come. Congratulations and great to hear he is settle in nicely. BTW, coffee and 3am sounds about right to me for the first few days. |
Combat Training Yorkie Style 4 Attachment(s) Robbie is finding life to be a little difficult with the high steps but with sheer determination he gets there....lol Attachment 351706 Attachment 351705 Attachment 351707 Attachment 351708 |
That is sooo cute!! Does he get out of the house quicker than he gets in? Abby could get up and in, but I had to help her out and down for the first few weeks. |

LOL...this little soldier has a great way of escaping. He stands back from the door then runs at the step taking off on all fours right through the door and landing on four legs. I have never seen anything like it. Don't ya just have to love them huh....lol Attachment 351710 |
