The rug in the 3rd pic is a Flokati rug, I love them and so does George he loves scuffing them up to make "nests" though so I'm forever straightening them.:p |
Love these! Might have to make the next theme in our photo thread weather in honor of your snow! :) George looks like he really wants to be out in the snow in that last one! |
SNOW awww...it's beautiful!! George looks like he's enjoying it!! |
I live in Texas and I am GREEN with envy!!!! It's so hot here that you can not imagine what it's like! OK, I'll tell ya! It's like sucking on a blow dryer! Pitiful, just pitiful! |
Here in FtW it will be 102 tomarrow and 105 on Friday. I am NOT a happy girl about the heat. The only up side is,when time allows I get to play with Mina in the pool. Snow is pretty in pics! |
Yea, going to be looking at those pics a few more days as we're still at the 102-104 degree range for the next 2 days!!! GRRRRRR. |
The hot weather is making people grumpy,Im no exception. Even in the pool it is too hot most of the time. My yard looks like a mowed hay field, just glad that my rose bush isn't dead but I haven't seen a flower in months. I have a couple of projects going outside that I can not do inside (scroll saw, sanding and spray paint). I am getting abunch of sewing done. My AC is working well and I dont have to leave the house today. OK gonna stop whining and go back to work. Thanks for letting me vent! Those of you that live in TX will understand. |

When it ices over I build a BIG fire in the fireplace, sit right in front of it and stay put. I will cook a good hot dinner and go fetch firewood off the backporch, unless one of the kids volunteers. Its so hot outside, even at night, that we cannt even go for a motorcycle ride and that is bad. Kinda like needing to see your theropist and cannt get them to answer the phone. You know its how when even white wine doesnt' taste good. WAAA |
This has been the coldest summer that I remember - we were calling it Junuary and it hasn't gotten any better. Today it's a balmy 15 degrees celsius (59 fahrenheit). It's good weather for our renovations but for summer it really sucks.:thumbdown:thumbdown. |
The snow has melted but I have a sludgy lawn and a huge puddle and it's still raining, temp is 5 degrees celcius so cold, bit better than yesterday it was 3. At work today but wow am I looking forward to getting home at least it's Friday now and have no plans for the weekend other than taking George out for a big walk (weather permitting) Can't go walking when it rains as he hates the umbrella and spends all his time at the full extent of his retractable lead worried that the brolly will get him, any one else have a yorkie with the umbrella terror:eek: |
Tibbe is not a brolly fan but not many dogs are. I use one outdoors if a dog approaches when we are walking, opening it up in front of Tibbe and I and the dog invariably backs off or turns and runs other way as Tibbe is pulling backward. Even big dogs back off an open umbrella facing toward them. Dogs really do not like the old brolly, do they? |
