And I love it!! I've been trying to grow out Cooper's hair for almost a year now. It's extremely thick and cottony and I've been spending about 45 minutes per day brushing him. I took him to the groomer and cut it all off this morning!

I was so scared to pick him up, hoping I made the right decision. I love it!! He still has his long face and topknot but his body is really short. No more brushing!! :excited2: He's also about 1/2 the size.

Max Got A Haircut Too!

Max got a haircut yesterday too, but it's not as major a change. The groomer cut about 1/2" all around.

They are so cute! I want to grow my dogs hair out but he has cottony hair and it gets matted really easily. Maybe our next yorkie will have silky hair and we can grow it out some. I'd like it to be about halfway down his legs and the hair on his head to be long enough to put in a topknot. But I'm just dreaming at this point. :)

Cooper and Max look great, love the hair cuts. They are such beautiful dogs.

Cooper looks fantastic! I think that short cut definitely suits him and I'm sure he feels better. Max has the prettiest hair, what a stud.

Thanks everyone! I think the deciding factor was that I was starting to prevent my boys from going in the pool because brushing/cleaning them up after the pool was a huge ordeal. I felt very guilty for caring more about their hair then their fun. Now Cooper will dry instantly instead of 3 hours!

LOL, isn't that fantastic? When Jackson's hair starts getting longer, it takes so much longer to dry. I love when it's short. It dries off within minutes.

The boys both looks so good!!! I love both their haircuts and Cooper just looks so happy with his. Handsome little guys:)

Karen, I just found your thread...you scared me not PM'ing after you picked up Cooper. His haircut is perfect! Both Cooper and Max are looking like handsome little boys.

I love the pic of Cooper sitting doing the head tilt back. Very nice shot. You can really see the Maltese in him.

I'm so glad PD did such a nice job grooming! :thumbup:
