Yes, that is our yard. Wish I could take the credit, but Marge does it all. I just stay out of her way, and I pick up after the dogs.

Great family photos. I always enjoy seeing them. Is that your home? The scenery is beautiful! It doesn't look like that in Kansas :) so I always admire it in other's photos. LOL.

Yes, this is where the 4 dogs live, as well as Peacocks, and all other assorted Critters and Varmints as we back right up to a 1000 acre forest preserve. We have been in this house for 7 years now, and Marge continues to add to the landscaping each year. Personally, I like desert landscape better, just rocks of various sizes and a few Cactii.

hi steve! i am just now seeing all of these gourgeous photos! wow! i didn't know about the peacocks! they are absolutely beautiful! last year, justin and i went to a camping resort in oregon that had a peacock farm. i have several feathers that i brought home. must've been mating season because i know exactly what you're talkin about when you mention their call. i was so suprised when i heard them! they were everywhere, must've had 100s of them! such beautiful creatures.
i love seeing the family photos! the pic of carlo is perfect. he looks so happy! love seeing the spice boys chewing together! maxine is such a pretty little girl she looks so wonderful you would never know she's 14. you and marge look like such happy proud furparents! what a great family you have. i'm glad to have met most of yas and hope to meet the rest soon!!!

Thank you Carrie. We look forward to seeing you guys again also. Hopefully they will have the meet-up Chicago River Boat ride with the dogs again this August. We will for sure be there. How are your pups doing now? Any new word?

it has been 11 days since zowi's ACTH test and still no word on the results unfortunately. i did call today just to make sure and they told me very soon. we are trying to keep zowi cool and comfortable. we've been keeping the a/c running, giving her ice cubes, and her very own fan. she has finished the antibiotics, we are still giving her the denamarin for liver support at least till we find out more. i will post results when i get them. if she does have cushing's we will start with a melatonin implant that will last 4 months and possibly another form of therapy combined with that. then it's a waiting game to see if it helps to bring her hormone levels back to normal. the next step would be to find out what type of cushing's she has. thanks so much for asking about her. i hope you're big guy is continuing to do well!!!!
we are definitely hoping for the boat cruise in august too. i have been checking to see if anything has been announced.... definitely planning on being there too!!!

Hope you get the results back soon. Waiting is very hard. Stay positive my friend.

Carlo is hanging in there. I have to take him for another Blood test tomorrow morning, as the one last week was not what the vet and I were hoping for. In a few more weeks, we make the trip into the City to see his Cancer Specialist for an exam, X-Ray and Ultrasound. He has slowed down, but heck, so have I! You have a good day.
